Happy at Henry’s

Henry’s is located off the main drag in Sukhumvit, a little side street that you will walk by if you didn’t know it was there. That street is pretty quiet, low key and relaxed. A couple other bars and small hotels are on this street as well. The hotel is clean and functional. Nothing fancy but the bed was comfortable and when I asked for more towels, I got more towels. The WiFi worked well for me but I was just texting and google searching. I was on the 4th floor which is a walk up. No elevator. But really wasn’t a big deal. I really liked the location close to the sky train (Asoke station) and the metro Sukhumvit station. Money exchangers nearby, I liked Wendy’s, they will do a credit card cash advance. I can’t say too much about the staff, I was out and about or asleep. Did not have much chance to interact with them. What little interaction I had was very pleasant. When I go back to Bangkok, I will probably stay with them again. One last note, I ate there once, had the chicken wings. They were excellent.

The reviews for this property were very good. However, the room was a little more basic that I had anticipated. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean (and cleaned daily). Never got the (youtube) TV to work, the bedroom walls were very thin (sounds from other rooms and the bar downstairs).

Good location, but pay for reservation at booking

I stayed at the second floor and it seems they redid the rooms because it was clean and everything looked new. It's well located. 1st floor has a smell problem so I was happy to stay at the 2nd floor this time. Conveniently located. BUT I am not giving it a 5 star rating because if you select the option to pay at the hotel you will be charged 5% fee for using a credit card, so if you book this hotel and you want to pay with a credit card without hassle, pay when booking instead of the hotel.

Great Staff...

This place was a mix of very nice and Thai workmanship. The staff and the overall upkeep was really really nice. But the whole building was, not great. One room stank and when they upgraded me, (which was frankly really nice of them) the other room the water in the shower never got hot. You hate to complain after an upgrade but, hey, people want honest reviews. Staff, 10/10. Rooms, 8/10, construction of the hotel, 4/10.

Best Hotel in Bangkok

To my surprise this is hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure staying in. This isn’t really a family oriented hotel mainly due to the size of the rooms. The room is small, but for 1-2 people it will suffice. Everything is very clean. The air-con works very well and you are able to leave it on if you go out and come back to a cold room. The beds are firm. The WiFi is a little strange. It works well, but you have to log into it pretty much every time you disconnect (leave the hotel) and reconnect. It doesn’t remember your login. There is a bar and grill downstairs. The food is amazing. They have simple pizzas and burgers (typical bar food), but this is Thailand, so where’s the Thai food? Well they have that too. Everything is made fresh and everything is amazing! The bar staff consists of all beautiful Thai women that all have their own personalities (some essenctric) and they are all very friendly and professional. There is one Thai guy that works 3rd shift and he is equally as friendly and professional. They are all like a family and they really do a good job to welcome you and make you feel like your a part of the family too. Bar has good drink pricing and specials and they do serve draft beer. Your literally right off of suhkumvit rd and easy access to sky train, terminal 21, massage parlors, restaurants, night life. Everything is pretty much perfect. I felt safe and welcomed at Henry’s and I will make it a point to come back again and again.

본인은 남자이며 배낭여행객으로 이용함 TV가 되지않아 문의함 14시에 봐준다고 했는데 안옴 방 사이즈 엄청 작음 배낭여행객이라면 저렴하게 이용가능 단기여행자에게 비추 터미널21 10분 거리 1층에 바있음 제일 별로였던건 아침에 일어나니까 화장실에서 하수구 냄새 심했음 1박이라 신경 안썼지만 2박 이상이면 비추

2階の部屋でしたが、1階のバーの音はほとんど聞こえず問題ありませんでした。 が、バスルームがとにかく臭く、扉をあけていると部屋中に臭いが充満するほどでした。 スタッフの方に伝えるとスプレーで対応してもらえましたが効果は一時的なものでまたすぐ臭くなり、そこはとても残念でした。 立地は良いと思います。

아속역에서 걸어서 5~10분 이내에 도착할 수 있습니다. 새로 인테리어를 한 것으로 보였는데, 그래서인지 깨끗했습니다. 제가 머물렀던 방은 창문이 없어서인지 조용했습니다. 1층 펍에서는 시원한 맥주와 함께 간단한 식사도 가능하고 호텔 투숙객 할인도 해줍니다. 주말에는 라이브공연을 보면서 마실 수 있었습니다. 락캔롤!! 걸어서 10분 이내에 공원이 있어서 해질녂 운동하기 좋았고, 현지 투어 출발점이 아속역 근처인 경우가 많아서 편리했습니다. 걸어서 10분 이내에 BTS아속역과, MRT수쿰빗역이 있습니다.

Perfect-for-one staying experience

This is my second stay with Henry's Hotel. Still a superb experience this time. Cozy room and friendly staff is a plus of the whole staying experience. However, if u were assigned to rooms with balcony, make sure you check whether the lock of the balcony door is serviceable. Luckily I checked this time before I unpacked everything so the staff change another room for me. Just a safety reminder for all of you. Quite neighborhood with 7-11 and family marts. At least 3 currency exchange shops are one the way from hotel to Asok BTS and the rate is sometimes same with headquarters of the Green Superrich. Rooms are quiet and not much noise from the air-con. Takes around 7min walk from Asok but with the bridge and escalator inside the exchange tower, it's easy to move the luggage from place to place.

Paid a little extra for a room with window... Did not get it but for convenience and because the room was OK , no complaint was raised ( but it is a black mark). However when the aircon poured water over the bed the staff fairly quickly changed my room... for another without windows. Location by the mall and BTS is terrific and since all is new and fresh it is good value.

Small but clean and comfortable hotel.

A fantastic value hotel in a quiet area. It is a small place, but has everything you need for a short stay. My bedroom was a little on the small side, but had all the amenities I wanted. The best thing about this hotel is the friendliness and ever present smiles from the girls on reception. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and I can't praise them enough for making my three nights stay such a pleasant one.
