Good basic hotel - value for money

The room was good (recently renovated) but the lobby area and the area in general is a bit shabby - I wouldn't complain if I had to stay here again, but I would probably prefer to stay in a different area of BKK

Slightly tired, esp in the common areas, but good location and comfortable spot to stay. Window don’t look like they have been cleaned in 20 years, caked in bird droppings.

Wonderful reception and facilities. The staff and security were outstanding. The elevators were a bit confusing dependin on where you needed to get and could be labled as such. I will return 100%

Over all good stay and restaurant was good choice of breakfast. Front desk staff was ok, not that accommodate. They put making money as priority then guest service. I will not stay there again. It also shouldn’t be 5 star rating, I travel a lot and put that one in 3.5 star. Anything over 3.5 would be over rating.

The area is all loud and noisy and has allot of Middle Eastern people, you would be forgiven if you thought you were in Saudi Arabia instead of Bangkok.

Buildings need update.

Hotel needs an update. We had two rooms, one in the old building and the other in the newer building. The old building: We were able to lock the door but the deadbolt was not align so we could not locked that. We stayed 4 nights, one the elevator didn't work for two nights. The newer building: The security door chain was missing the chain.

Lack of professionalism among front desk staff

At the time of checking out at the hotel, the person who was at the Front Desk took a long time doing it without knowing how to deduct the charges made to the room from the deposit made at the time of checking in. Causing us a long delay to get to the airport where we almost missed the flight

Service of WiFi needs to improve not stable network connection, off on the out my stay , the house keeping needs to be trained to clean the room and leave it in a neat condition after vacuuming the room my shoes where thrown in all directions !!! Not put back in a line as I left them!!! All done in a hurry hair lying of the staff on the table after dusting !!! Fallen accidentally!! Also they need to have more staff speaking English and understanding the guests request and problems!! The swimming pool area is poorly lit specially the swimming pool on touching both ends of the pool while swimming one accidendly bangs ones head !!! Very dark , on both Length ends!!

It's right down in the center of one of the most touristy areas, so don't expect it to be too quiet. Had a slight issue when arriving, but sorted it out. Loved the big double sink bathroom, however there's definitely an issue with their sewer system. The toilet would "Clog" when there's nothing to clog it with. Mostly Arabic customers, but pretty much friendly. I chose it because it had a very nice large room with 3 actual beds for 3 adults, instead of 2 beds and a cot or some convertible couch.
