Welcome to Stay Awhile, your vacation rental just a mile from historic downtown Bandera! Home to the 11th Street Cowboy Bar, shops, restaurants, museums and much more. Our cottage has two bedrooms, a pull-out couch, and one full bathroom. Amazing cottage to stay with our pups for a weekend getaway! Bandera has amazing food and great places to hike and the house was so comfy to come back to and watch TV! Appreciated all the attention to detail given to decorating this house and making it feel homey! Would 100% stay there again!

The cabin was exactly what we needed. Very clean and comfortable. Nice little fenced in yard just right for our little fur-baby (she’s an old gal). Parking was right next to the fence so no worries about your vehicle. Nice and cool inside when we arrived (thank you Colleen). We will look to stay here again on our next visit.

This is a cute cozy place. Great fenced yard for pets. Close to downtown, but far enough away in quiet neighborhood. We will booked this again on our next stay in Bandera! The host were wonderful.

Cute, cozy Weekend stay!

We had the best time at this cottage in Bandera. It was perfect for the weekend while we picked our kids up from Camp OTX. Colleen has decorated the cabin so beautifully and made us really feel at home. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

Weekend Stay

This was our second stay at Stay Awhile. It is a perfect place to stay in Bandera. The accommodations are always so clean and very cozy! Colleen does a great job at having little things to make you feel at home. Nice covered porch to hang out in the evening or for your morning coffee. There is a grill with a little picnic sitting area. We look forward to booking in the future for hopefully a longer stay :)Highly recommend!

Bandera stay April 2024

We had a wonderful time in the cottage. It was so clean and beautifully built and furnished. Everything was like new. The cottage was unbelievably well-stocked with absolutely everything you might possibly need. We loved grilling and hanging out in the large yard and sitting on the lovely porch. The owners were so friendly and nice. Would go back there in a heartbeat <3

The Cabin is brand new, decorated perfectly Inside & Outside, nice covered front porch, king size bed was awesome, host thought of everything bottled water, snacks, grapes, coffee & condiments just an outstanding rental.

Excellent experience!

The wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary this trip. The best part of our visit to Bandera was meeting our delightful host’ , Colleen and Beano! Colleen checked on us shortly after our arrival and The tiny house was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Well designed and thought out every detail. We had a great time! So much to see and do in the area, we will definitely be staying here again!
