Loved Casa del Rio! The staff, the rooms, the cleanliness, the location, the facilities - can not fault them. Loved the turn down service every night - they even lit candles in your room for you ❤. Walking distance to everything, Saturday night markets were AMAZING, the cute little narrow streets & quaint buildings. The Mega Mall is impressive & only 10 minute walk from resort. I would highly recommend Casa del Rio to anyone wanting to be spoilt whilst on holiday. Definitely going back - good...

and walking through the Historic areas of Malacca, also enjoyed two River Cruises.

This was definitely a little hidden gem. An oasis near the busy town centre. The atmosphere was so relaxing, open and airy. The open courtyard where we had breakfast, open feel of the rooms with the glass bathroom, and the rooftop pool made our stay very relaxing. And being able to park our car on site and do everything on foot makes this one of the best locations I can think of for a hotel. 100% would stay here again and highly recommend. It should be a 4.5-5 start rating. Compared to other...

This was our second stay, because we enjoyed the individuality of the hotel so much last time. We had room G7 which was at the back, lovely and quiet with a deck and small garden. Only complaints were that the wifi was patchy and the room safe continually malfunctioned. Staff and breakfast were good, and a slightly late check out was much appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

I travelled with my elderly parents. We stayed 4D 3N. The hotel is walking distance to famous sight seeing such as Jonker Walk, Red Square, shopping mall etc... The hotel is a beautiful maintained historical building. All the staff were kind and considerate to us. We had a lovely time staying there.

We would highly recommend this boutique hotel. We stayed in the Vista room. It was immaculately clean, very spacious and had a great balcony overlooking the surrounding area. Staff were friendly and helpful and a breakfast was varied and plentiful.

The Holiday Inn Malacca was great after staying in a beach hut on Tioman for a few days. The facilities (the room, the pool, sauna etc) were great. We had a hire car so it was easy to drive into town but there is a free shuttle bus. The town is walkable (10 to 20 mins) but we didn't try it. Shopping malls aren't that far away although the roads are busy so I suggest you get dropped off and picked up by the shuttle bus. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
