I like: cleanliness, the Superior King room can accommodate for 4 pax. It's a great idea for family with kids but might not be good for elderly since the bedroom is at the upstairs. The design gives the feeling of relax, comfort.. I don't like: the ground floor is quiet and should make the atmosphere more lively. However the main hotel "Heeren Palm Suite" at the opposite is a good one... it's a good experience staying in a Baba-Nyonya hotel in Melaka! What do you think having a cup of coffee in a Baba-Nyonya hotel?

My review and feedback is specific to the special villa suite The advertisement of the room being 100M from the hotel is a bit misleading. The villa is an entirely different address, offsite from the hotel and in a residential area. Access to the villa through the hotel back gate. The unit is more an AirBnb not not really a hotel room. The house is nice and spacious, but not readily accessible to Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock. Most visitors would assume that the facilities are located near the advertised street address, where it's easily manageable to reach the main attractions.

A pleasant stay near to Jonker Street

It was a rather pleasant 2-night stay for us, especially since it is located just 1 street away fron the famous Jonker Street.. close to all the good food and shops. The complimentary breakfast was a simple affair that was provided by another Heeren hotel just across the street. We had booked a room with 2 King beds, and were put up in a clean & nicely-decorated room. However, its entrance & bathroom were downstairs, while the bedroom was upstairs. So, every time we needed to get stuff from our travel bags in the bedroom (as there was insufficient space downstairs to put our bags), we had to climb up the stairs.. and when coming down the stairs, we had to exercise extra caution as the steps were narrower than the usual ones. All said, we would still like to stay in this hotel if and when we return to Malacca.. just have to remind outselves to bring along sufficient mozzie repellents ;)

Correct pour 2 nuits & personnel très sympathique

Nous avions l’hôtel en face. pour éviter d'être sur la rue. la chambre que nous avions était très bien car très spacieuse et pas côté rue, climatisée, eau offerte. et dans le centre donc parfait pour visiter et revenir se rafraichir, se changer plusieurs fois par jour (il fait très chaud!). mais Malacca reste bruyante. l'accès à la chambre est assez complexe, il faut être en forme (beaucoup d'escaliers) et des bagages pas trop lourds sinon c'est très compliqué. Petit déjeuner super et personnel adorable et très serviable en général.

Pleasant stay and great customer service

One of our favourite stays in Malacca. The service staff are excellent and go all the way to help. However, they had to shuttle between Heereen Palm Suites and Heereen Straits Hotel. Breakfast was a decent spread of local food and we loved the handmade epok epok with lots of fillings (and feelings). Great location but a nightmare getting Grab into and out of the area during the long holiday weekend, otherwise it should be fine. Overall, a pleasant stay for a family of 4.

Close to main attractions of Malacca

Great access to Jonkers walk and a short walk over the bridge to Heritage sites of Malacca. You will find lots of shopping opportunities not to mention numerous places to eat all within easy walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great base for a Malacca visit
