Searched on google for pet friendly hotels and clicked Expedia link to this Courtyard Marriott. Called hotel in advance of checking in and they informed me that the hotel was not pet friendly. Note, the dog with me is an registered service dog (PTSD), and a registered emotional support animal. The dog was not on duty. The Marriot team member I spoke with informed me that I would receive a full refund for the inconvenience, but I had to do it through Expedia. Expedia contacted the hotel and the manager, Josi, told them that they could not refund me. I never entered the hotel. It was a Thursday night and the hotel had plenty of rooms available (it was not as if they were operating under full capacity).

Niscia was very personable and helpful at checkin desk. Such a delight! Only thing I would have liked is a safe in room to use. It had everything else and was quite nice and very comfortable. Would definately use again.

The hotel renovation is excellent however they should have renovated the staff and/or their attitude. The front desk staff are rude or, at best, indifferent. Also, BEWARE there is no room service yet they fool you into thinking there is by putting signs in the bathroom that read “please hang to reuse. Hang your towels to reuse them…leave your towels in the floor and we’ll replace them.” Also, they provide you with Do Not Disturb signs yet they have no room reserve - Haha! What a joke!

We’re leaving in a cruise. VERY close to port. Very walkable downtown. Lots of food/restaurants within walking distance. Grocery store right next door. Very clean and super convenient

Apparently I booked the wrong room. Pictures displayed a suite but I got a standard room. When I approached the front desk the staff person was not very accommodating. Said they didn’t have the room I wanted available and then when I asked for a rollaway she refused me a roll away bed. I also requested a lower floor room and was placed on the top floor of the hotel even when asking the front desk when I checked in for a lower level room and had it on my reservation request. Very disappointed for the $ I paid at this hotel. Next time I will stay somewhere else. Luckily I only booked one night here.

I liked that this hotel had amazing customer service, and I really enjoyed the convenience of the location of the hotel. I could walk to my company's Happy Hour hosted at Little Havana's. I also could walk 1 min to my workplace the following day. The parking situation was very easy and explained to me clearly by the concierge person.

We have stayed before—2-nights this time to visit family in walking-distance. Dining was very slow for breakfast-items and late-dinner-items—I think short-staffed. But food quality was fine—although limited menu.

Hotel room was very nice and spacious. Everything was incredibly clean. We did have a little trouble identifying the parking lot, and it could easily be confused with the market lot across the street. The area around the hotel was very nice as well!
