Searched on google for pet friendly hotels and clicked Expedia link to this Courtyard Marriott. Called hotel in advance of checking in and they informed me that the hotel was not pet friendly. Note, the dog with me is an registered service dog (PTSD), and a registered emotional support animal. The dog was not on duty. The Marriot team member I spoke with informed me that I would receive a full refund for the inconvenience, but I had to do it through Expedia. Expedia contacted the hotel and the manager, Josi, told them that they could not refund me. I never entered the hotel. It was a Thursday night and the hotel had plenty of rooms available (it was not as if they were operating under full capacity).
