"Loved this place! Oozing with history and early 20th century charm. So historical. Came here late June 2026. Went to a star party at McDonald Observatory the night we stayed here and Fort Davis next morning. No food options in the hotel, but that is not an issue. Several options nearby. Room was clean, comfortable, large, had high ceilings, and cool. Bathroom kind of tiny and minimal counter space. Not a big deal though when you factor in the other positive elements. Kids enjoyed the shared pool that was a short walk away. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Clean and comfortable! Great host communication. Perfect base for Marfa, Davis Mountains and McDonald Observatory. We loved using the back patio for star watching. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals at the house. 100% recommend to friends staying in the area!"

"It is a nice and quiet cabin on a secluded area with mountain view. We enjoyed the cozy napping on the porch in the afternoon, walking in the evening and star gazing at night. This is the experience we never had before The location is close to places we went, like McDonald Observatory, Davis Mountain State Park, etc. Rooms are clean and Jennifer answered my question quickly. We will definitely stay here again if we have a chance visiting the area next time."
