The Saratoga Bar & Rooms

The Saratoga Bar & Rooms

8/10 Good
"The property building and carpark is in need of renovations. The property is located directly on the beach, great for a walk. The room itself was outstanding with all modern amenities and a great sea view. Comfortable queen bed, double shower, sitting area. The bar was great, the young barman Jason was fantastic, great suggestions on drinks and just managed everyone well. It was also the locals bridge club night so that bought in another 20 people. It was a great atmosphere. Unfortunately the kitchen wasn't operating so no food was available. Overall a great spot to stay."

"Staff were friendly, room was immaculately clean and spacious. Lovely view and convenient location. I was in town for an event on the Sunday and had friends staying in a hotel on The Mall who were kept awake late with live music and noise on the Saturday night so was very happy with our quiet and peaceful hotel - even slept with the windows open and could hear the river."

"From the moment you pull in the driveway you get a sense of calm. The landscape is absolutely stunning. You are greeted at the door by one of the owners. They show you around then take you upstairs to your room. The decor was very calming and having its own bathroom in your room is a great bonus. Breakfast was made to order and prepared by o e of the owners as well. These 2 men have created a BnB that they should be extremely proud of. If we ever come back to this part of Ireland, we will 100% stay there again."
