Great for families, but not great aircon
Barefoot was a lovely place to stay, right opposite the beach. The location was wonderful, the house was clean and the pool was a great addition.
But, there were ants in the bathroom and bedrooms, The aircon only worked in the front of the house and never reached the back 2 bedrooms. The back rooms had fans, but one of them only went on a slow medium speed.
There was no drain pipe next to the back room, so when the rain came, the noise through the gutters and falling down to the ground was so loud it would wake you up.
And every day we were there (8 days), apart from the weekend, there were workmen there making a huge amount of noise using hammers, saws and drills. If you laid down in the back room, it was noisy as anything and hot! We were not notified of this noise, no one advised us and when communicated how we were disappointed with how much noise, no one responded!
