Clean and tidy property.
Accommodation was clean and obviously new and our group felt a few suggestions might help. The home would benefit from some ambiance (prints on walls, wall clock in kitchen/lounge area) and a bbq for cooking meals. We also felt that some information about activities available in the area would help (I was grateful for the information Tom gave us in his emails). A small supply of dishwashing tablets would be recommended so guests are able to at least wash dishes on first night, a supply of more that 1 tea towel, some bread and butter plates, also a chair in the bedrooms would help with placement of clothing. Air conditioner seemed ineffective in cooling down the home -? needs servicing. There were 3 milk bottles located in recycle bin in kitchen which had residue milk in all containers (curdled). Please note that these are just suggestions that we agree on after staying in many holiday homes. In conclusion you have a lovely home Tom.

Excellent place to stay
We only stayed for the night, the house was easy to find and clean on arrival. Lovely little touches like all the beds having electric blankets was appreciated. Kitchen was well equipped. We would stay here again if in the area, it was close to the town centre and there is a good Italian restaurant round the corner. Excellent communication from the host

Excellent location
This property is exceptionally positioned if you plan on doing the Sovereign Hill experience (which is exactly what we wanted and did) and be close to the heart of Ballarat (for shops like Coles, food and great restaurants). The house easily accommodated our family of 5 (3 teenage kids). It is clean, secure, and spacious, with a lock up garage & excellent heating for the heart of winter. Also loved the electric blankets on each bed, which we all appreciated after the Winter Wonderland Sovereign Hill experience and Aura show. The property also had an air conditioner if you plan a summer stay. The kitchen was roomy and well equiped, bedrooms spacious and bathrooms a great size. My only suggestion to Tom was a couple of bean bags or armchairs. The couches although seat 5 also meant we had to sit up straight to watch a movie on the huge TV. Some extra seating would have made it more enjoyable to lounge. Neighbourhood quiet too. Tom, the host, was informative and accommodating & a delight to work with. I highly recommend this property and would definitely re-book this property. Loved it.

Quiet, Roomy & Relaxing Place to Stay in Ballarat
Family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kevlar. Fantastic morning sun in the Kitchen & Lounge on the cold Ballarat mornings. Everything needed in the well equipped town house with Tom communicating quickly. Only slight difference is the description as being walking distance to CBD and Sovereign Hill. In theory yes, but practically, probably not.

Ballarat football stay
From inquiry to arrival, check in and departure all was easy. The host communicated with us and was keen to much sure check in and the stay went well. Really nice new Apartment which was clean, tidy and fitted out well in a newer development. Was close the everything we needed.
