"Didn't stay as our ferry time was changed due to adverse weather. Went to the hotel to let them know of our changes and they were excellent. Even though we didn't stay, our impression of the hotel was extremely favourable. Would not hesitate to book again."

"The castle was an amazing experience. Who doesnt want to stay in a castle?? It is FAR into the countryside and without a car, you cannot visit. The room was stunning but it was so hot and there was no option to adjust the temperature. Dinner was a challenge. You had to flag down the staff for cutlery after they dropped off the food. Waitstaff did not know the menu and could not advise what was in an item or even what items are being served. Steak was under cooked and the staff didn't come to check on our table until my husband was finished eating and at that point, i had eaten what i could. If we had been staing longer, i would have found alternative dinner restaurants before i would go back to the Dungeon Bar again."
