"We stay at the Hume every-time we come to Nelson- it’s central to most things and an easy walk to shopping and restaurants. But the real reason we stay here is the hotel- historic in nature and everything about it is exceptional- staff, cleanliness, everything. Highly recommend!"

"Staff was welcoming and helpful on dinner locations and ferry schedule. Breakfast could have been better. Heating French toast in a toaster doesn't work. Also fruit available but only apples. Our room was clean but the mattress needed flipping or replacing. I rolled to the middle all night."

"This is a very comfortable home in a beautiful location. It feels like you’re staying in a friend’s home, with its interesting art and books. Janice met us for check-in and spent quite a bit of time showing us the house. She is readily available by text for any questions you may have. The kitchen is well equipped, with everything needed for cooking and barbecuing. You are a very short walking distance from the Hot Springs, and the restaurant at the Hot Springs was very good. All in all, this is one of our favourite rental properties we have visited over the years."

"We loved the Raven’s Nest Chalet! Very clean, kitchen very well stocked, laundry is great to have and hot tub is a great added bonus. The only thing we would suggest is it would be nice to have some lights that come on around the property at night time as it’s pitch black up a gravel road and lots of trees. Definitely would stay here again."
