This place was wonderful, peaceful and exactly as shown. Tents are cozy and simplistic. River can be heard all night while sleeping and a train track runs behind property so you get the occasional sound of the train, which I found enjoyable.
The best part we’re hosts Toni and Marty. Truly friendly, warm, helpful hosts for a single girl struggling to build a fire. I would definitely love to stay here again in the future ❤️❤️💕💕💕
Campground across gravel road from double train tracks, trains came by two to three times per day, several times at night. No signage to help locate property, took an hour to locate with GPS. Only communication with host was text sent by mom. Beautiful area, comfortable bed. Will not return.
The property is absolutely beautiful and in a prime location. My group was able to hike Mt. Mitchell over our new years stay. It is an awesome set up at Rusty's Roost.
