Fantastic little cottage.
Booked very last minute and very glad we did.
Perfect little home away from home.
Lovely and clean, light and airy and very comfortable bed.
High quality furnishings throughout, although it would be good if the fold down table could be folded up! to give a bit more space.
Everything else you could need for a short break and we hope to be back.

An ideal country retreat
Central to south Gloucester, withing easy traveling distance to all the places we wanted to visit. the cottage itself was set in the well manicured land adjacent to the owners quintessential Cotswolds house, tended by Charlie and Rob the friendly gardeners who took time to talk to us about the area. my wife even had a quick demonstration of the farrier who was changing the horseshoes of one on the horses that occupied the stables next door.
alltogether a memorable week
Very relaxing and comfortable little cottage with lovely views over the gardens. Great location. Home comforts, warm and cozy. Had the best nights sleep out of all of our UK stays. Robin the host was very obliging, and the property team of Rob and Charlie were a pleasure to chat with. They made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a lovely setting on the property.

Our second stay at Orchard Cottage.
Orchard Cottage was as clean, comfortable and warm as we remembered from our first stay. Both visits were a cold week in January. Although you are told there may be noise from the horses, they are very quiet and did not disturb us at all.
The cottage was very good for our few days getaway, in a lovely location and the neighbours were very friendly and helpful when looking for somewhere to eat. It has a spacious lounge and bedroom, excellent bathroom. the kitchen was very good but a we bit small. This would be a lovely cottage with a bit more attention to detail. The entrance door is draughty and the lock unpredictable, The edge was taken off the stay by the uncomfortable sofa and the unstable chairs. It would have been nice to have sat outside for a drink but the garden furniture was old and dirty.
Pretty and secluded location. Added interested was provided by the nearby beautiful horses and related activity, we saw some shoeing.
The accommodation was well designed, very clean and well equipped.
Can strongly recommend.

Lovely stay at Orchard Cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orchard Cottage. It was well equipped and perfectly located for our planned visits to Highgrove and Westonbirt Arboretum. Beautiful location and good weather meant we could enjoy breakfast on the patio. The jug of milk in the fridge on arrival was much appreciated, thank you. We ate at The Kings Arms one evening which is highly recommended and just a short stroll from Orchard Cottage. Overall, a super comfy stay and two great night's sleep!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Orchard Cottage is a beautifully presented, modern, spacious stable conversion on the edge of the Cotswolds, set in the grounds of a small cluster of houses at one end of the village. The property has super convenient parking immediately outside, a comfortable living room, fully equipped kitchen and very large bedroom with adjoining bathroom. On our visit, the property was immaculately presented and spotlessly clean throughout. Although we didn't do any cooking on site, the kitchen is extremely well stocked, and the large fridge with ice box was appreciated. The location is extremely quite, and accessing the property was extremely easy. The property is extremely good value and I'd highly recommend it to anyone (single or couple) looking for a quiet, secluded spot for a memorable getaway.

Peaceful, relaxing and convenient cottage close to Westonbirt Arboretum
The cottage was as described and was very clean and tidy. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely cotton sheets, everything in the bathroom was spotlessly clean and functioned well. The parking space was adjacent to the cottage and a small outdoor seating area provided an opportunity to relax and enjoy the peaceful garden surroundings of the neighbouring large house. The kitchen area was very compact but well equipped - we cooked a meal most evenings except when we strolled down to the local friendly pub. The housekeeper was very helpful when we rang her for further details on locating the exact position of the cottage and the owner and gardener were both very friendly. The location was perfect as my husband was attending a course at nearby Westonbirt Arboretum. Malmesbury, Tetbury. Westonbirt and Miserden Gardens are all worth visiting. We would stay again.

Our first holiday as a 3
The location of the cottage was picturesque and the horses are beautiful.
Our first family holiday as a 3 with our 1yr old.
First arrival to the cottage inside is very undated, had an old stuffy smell to the place and had cobwebs in the wardrobe's, the tv is very slow, there was also mould on the inside of the curtains in the bedroom and its smaller than advertised on the website.
The bed it’s self was uncomfortable as the temperature was 24 degrees there was no A/C or anything provided to cool the place down.
Met the owner of the cottage on second day he was very polite.
All together the holiday it’s self was lovely great weather, great location apart from what was mentioned we did have a lovely holiday.

A good base for touring the Cotswolds but needs some updating
Lovely stay at Orchard Cottage. It's a really good base to tour the Cotswolds and the surrounding area. The cottage was clean and tidy but only the bare minimum was provided. A pair of oven gloves would have been useful and maybe just one or two pint glasses (we bought our own in the end). The bathroom was clean and tidy but our bath towels were threadbare with holes and could do with replacing. The corner of glass the shower curtain is also an issue. In order to get out of the shower the curtain needs to be moved and I cut my foot quite badly on the corner. Some of the mini toiletries left were half used and I wasn't sure if they'd been left by a previous party.
The bed was fine. Small and an old fashioned sprung mattress which could do with updating.
However, the cottage is sufficient for two adults looking for a no frills base to explore a beautiful part of the country.
Brilliant property, lovely interior and very cosy. Great stay.

A beautiful countryside getaway
My partner and I booked a weekend getaway from the city, and our cottage was perfect in every way we could have hoped for. The location was ideal, and the interiors were both beautiful and exceptionally comfortable, reflecting the high quality of the property. While we did encounter a couple of small issues, the customer service team was friendly, attentive, and resolved everything quickly. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience, and we look forward to booking with Stay Cotswold again!

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location
Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. A small but perfectly formed cottage in a quiet setting so quiet we could hear the owls at night.
The cottage is set in the tranquil grounds of a large house. With lovely gardens and stables all around.
It was perfect for our trip to Westonbirt Arboretum and surrounding villages.
Very relaxing stay.

Cosy cottage in quiet surroundings
Orchard cottage was lovely and had a very cosy homely feel to it. The area is very quiet perfect for getting away from city living. There are a number of areas nearby to visit within a half hour drive or less so plenty to do and see. The King's Arms is a lovely pub to go have a drink at or have some food and only a short walk away.
This charming and clean cottage is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Easy access to walking paths and short drives to Cotswold villages and more walking. It was just what I needed to enjoy the gorgeous area and recharge. Highly recommend.
Great location about 25 mins from Bath and some beautiful scenery.
Plenty of National Trust places nearby.
Only (minor) faults with the property were lack of an oven glove and no fan in bathroom meant some steaming up.
Excellent base for our spring tour around Highgrove and subsequent walks around the beautiful surrounding countryside right from the front door. Really inviting from the moment we drove up the daffodil lined drive. The inside was tastefully decorated, neat and tidy with everything needed for a short break. Highly recommended.
