It was not good, not bad, or not ok

You can't expect too much from a small-town motel, but the room was extremely outdated. Everything looks like it came out of the 1980s detective show, however; the beds were comfortable.

Don't do it

Absolutely filthy ice machine broke pop machine broke chairs in room looked like somebody was killed in it. Stay away. I stay in 30 to 50 hotel nights a year by far the worst value for my money ever.

Outside was fine. Advertised ice machine, breakfast- coffee and muffins! None was provided the whole time I was there! Ice machine out of order the whole time! No one at front desk! You had to ring on phone if you needed something! Cobwebs on the window and floors were nasty dirty!

Only as a very last resort

Everything was old and dated, the carpets and chairs badly stained making them look very dirty. The refrigerator in the room had the freezer compartment almost totally filled with frost, rendering it useless. The drink machine was out of order for many selections and the ice machine was broken. The couple running (owners?) the place were pleasant, and I suppose doing their best but...we stayed as it was the only place available and reviews didn't look bad.

We were in town for a family event/the holiday weekend. We arrived just a little before official check in time, but the staff was extremely helpful and kind and checked us in really quickly. Our room was overall pretty clean. I was wishing we would have nightstands on both sides of the bed, but there was only one. The comforter was very old school and kinda uncomfortable/itchy so we went without it. The bed was quite firm, but I didn't mind this, my husband wasn't a fan though. The heater in the bathroom was plus. The AC in our room worked really well, we stayed nice and cool all night. Ice machine was out of order and the vending machine was not able to take cash at the time of our stay. Overall the property could use a little bit of a facelift, but it was nice to find something affordable during the holiday weekend.
