"We stayed only one night but the room was perfect for our needs. Super clean, Comfy bed, hot shower, 5 minute walk to train station. Had a bit of a problem locking the door (had to turn handle UP) but no real issues. Also, owner was home to let us store luggage late morning before checkin."

"Horizon has excellent location close to beach. It is dog friendly which I love as have small dog. Food is fine and good breakfast. Prices are reasonable. Horizon one main issue is rooms and some furnishings in lounge area are now needing replaced. Rooms badly need refurbished. It is a wee gem and I wish they would attend to these issues as if so I would make onging visits to it."

The shower has plenty of hot water and nice shampoo and soaps and lotion. Fluffy towels and face cloths are great. Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed and lovely linens."
