Wonderful stay

Beautiful property, really clean and perfect little breakfast in the fridge in room. Lovely texts from Arden to make sure I was ok and if I needed anything. Rooms would benefit from some black out curtains to complement the lovely blinds, however there was a sleep/eye mask provided which was appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, felt very comfortable and safe as a single female traveler.

A beautiful little oasis

As I was on a business trip, I spent to short a time there. It was a beautiful room and building and the grounds were impeccable too. Arden was very attentive, sending details of how to get there and gain entry and the little touch of fresh fruit, milk and orange juice in the fridge ti go with the cereal and Italian coffee for the cafetière was the icing on the cake. I have stayed in so many chain hotels on my travels and this was a very welcome relief to that mentality. Personal, comfortable and attention to detail all second to none. Loved it

Great location and room

One night stay for work. Big corner room with nice views. Very comfortable bed and all amenities included plus everything needed for doing a great breakfast! Shared bathroom but a little in-cupboard sink ameliorated the deficiency. I would definitely go again!

Just delightful

Absolutely beautiful house in the heart of Aylesbury. The room was lovely with some very thoughtful touches. Everything felt extremely clean and well presented. All the information you could need was available and Arden felt very approachable about any questions. An absolutely lovely place that I shall be recommending to anyone.

Beautiful, secure property with no compromises!

The Malt House looks good in the photos... and then you turn up and walk through the gates to find a little haven. The property is beautifully set with a feature path leading up to the door. You immediately feel like you are staying somewhere special. Decor inside is tastefully done and extremely homely. There is a lot of character with the posters, photos and book cases and we felt completely comfortable being at the property, as if we had been there before. Preparation for our visit was second to none and all details were clearly communicated for how to get there and regarding all amnesties and local options. Regarding the amnesties, we felt everything was accounted for and we couldn’t think of anything that was missing. It’s was actually a highlight for us not just a relief. We went for the room with a private toilet and the bedroom was well stocked with lots of food and drinks, all crockery and cutlery and also included another sink for ease. We have added the Malt House to our favourites and will find opportunities to come back. Definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Fabulous accommodation and very secure parking. Room was ideal and immaculate. Misunderstood details and had not realised it was room only, however fridge was well stocked and breakfast porridge and snack bars were provided in the room so this was fine. Room was not en-suite but bathroom was excellent and dressing gowns were provided so no issues arose. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a large room with king size bed and ensuite. The room was clean but did need some touching up to be in the highest category (eg ceiling lights had been changed exposing previous unpainted surface around edges). The hosts were very kind in helping us settle in and the provision of some breakfast starter options was a nice touch.

Not a b&b just a b

First the good bit, it is very clean and relatively quite for a town location, your car too is secure behind coded doors and plenty of room to park but the downside is this is not a b&b just a " b" as she doesn't do breakfast anymore. Bit of a shock as i thought that's what this was after all that's what it said on the sign in the front. Anyway she was happy to lend me a bowl and with a small fridge in the room I had somewhere to put my milk. This did mean that it was not such good value making it the same price as travel lodge but without the ensuite
