✨Perched on the heights of Ayen, this charming chalet—about 50 m²—welcomes you to a quiet, lush setting, ideal for a relaxing stay in the heart of the Corrèze countryside. With its sweeping view of the village and the fishing pond within walking distance, it’s the perfect place to recharge with family, as a couple, or with friends. The cottage can accommodate 2 to 4 people (including a baby or one child) and offers all the comforts needed for a pleasant stay.🌴💦

The chalet can accommodate up to 6 people, including 4 adults (+ 1 baby or 2 children), and offers all the comforts needed for a pleasant stay.

You’ll find a master suite with a walk-in closet, a private bathroom, and a separate toilet, as well as reversible air conditioning designed to ensure comfort and privacy.

A second bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed. The cosy living room also features a sleeper sofa, a television, and a warm dining area with reversible air conditioning.

The property includes a second bathroom with a toilet, convenient for stays with family or friends.

Outside, enjoy a fully fenced yard, perfect for safely accommodating up to two dogs. A furnished patio with a table, chairs, a lounge chair, a beach umbrella, and a barbecue will allow you to fully enjoy the sunny days.

Pétanque enthusiasts will also appreciate the small private court located directly on the chalet’s property. Located within a former holiday village consisting of independent chalets, the resort offers numerous amenities available to guests: a new swimming pool, equipped with a beach umbrella and lounge chair (opening June 2026), tennis courts, mini-golf, and a pétanque court—the equipment for which will be provided free of charge by the owners—as well as an outdoor fitness area with various outdoor exercise equipment and other recreational facilities that will further enhance the experience starting in 2027. Fishing enthusiasts will have easy access to the nearby pond—which you can see from the chalet’s terrace—and can purchase a fishing licence at the local store located near the chalet.

The pool is in the sun starting at 10 a.m. and enjoys sunlight all day long, so the water warms up nicely and remains very pleasant.

For those who prefer the shade, lounge chairs with umbrellas are available. And by mid-afternoon, the bottom of the pool (that entire section) is in the shade, so feel free to move your lounge chairs over to that side if you want to cool off a bit.

🏊 Enjoy the pool almost as if it were private!

Right now (2026), the resort is particularly quiet because very few cottages (from the former holiday village) have been purchased yet.

As a result, there are very few people on the property, especially at the pool. Our guests regularly tell us that they only run into 3, 4, or 5 people there… and sometimes no one at all! 😎

So this is the perfect time to fully enjoy the pool and the quiet of the resort. And it should remain very quiet this year—and probably next year as well.

Another advantage: there are no set hours for the pool! So you can go for a swim whenever you like—even in the evening at 7, 8, or 9 p.m.—right up until bedtime.

Ayen, ranked among the most beautiful villages in the area, is an excellent starting point for exploring the heritage of Corrèze, the picturesque landscapes of the Limousin, and the many outdoor activities in the surrounding area: hiking, charming villages, local markets, fine dining, and family-friendly activities. Whether you’re looking for peace and quiet, nature, relaxation, or outdoor activities, this chalet is the ideal place for an authentic getaway in the heart of Corrèze.

A little background: A renovation done with passion!

This chalet was completely renovated by its owner, Francis, who spent over two years restoring its charm—both inside and out—to create this magnificent view. Every improvement was carried out with care to offer visitors comfortable, authentic, and welcoming accommodation.
