The property was situated in a pleasant road, in easy walking distance of the lovely historic town of Avignon. An ideal stopover, at a very reasonable price. The staff were first class, nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly stay there again

Room was large, rather undecorated, but perfectly comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Quite close to train station. An easy walk into the main shopping area, and also close to marvelous museums.

Such a nice hotel.
Such a nice hotel. The front desk and breakfast staff were all marvelous and so helpful. Great location close to train and bus station. Very quiet street. Easy to walk everywhere. I loved the restaurant suggestions that the front desk gave me. Definitely will be back.

Good enough for a night or two.
Very helpful service from Phillipe at reception. Well located for train and city walks. Comfortable downstairs lounge with trans and coffee. Shower plumbing needs attention - squirting water at joint - and shower lethally slippery. Concave double bed mattress. Clean enough. Fine for two nights. Pictures of garden courtyard a bit misleading.

Excellent customer service. I loved that I could do laundry on site. While rooms are small, they have everything you need. Great breakfast too. Easy walking distance to everything.

A great location. We found the room outdated in style and very minimal but it was very clean. Staff was great. We opted for the breakfast each morning and it was so good. Quiet street but still close to the main roads and restaurants

This hotel has a fantastic location and having a secure parking area is great BUT DO NOT click on ‘choose your room’ and think that is what you ll get. We, along with countless before us were given a room that was so inferior to what the pictures shows it’s nothing less than shocking. In truth, we learned from staff who know, the hotel only has 4/5 rooms like the ones seen on Expedia AND their website, the rest are small, dark and dingy. The receptionist was only able to offer us a slightly better room for 4 as the hotel was ‘full’. Complaining to the owner manager gets a shrug from his shoulders as he blames Expedia for putting those pictures you ll see on the site rather than pictures of the rooms that actually predominate!! I leave you to decide if that’s fraudulent behavior or not. A horrid experience at the end of a long day’s drive to get there. Glad we only booked one nights stay.

Wifi was erratic. You could generally get a connection when you were close to the reception desk but in the room connectivity was erratic. Several networks. RDC perhaps best. Otherwise a very good hotel. Rooms clean and looked recently decorated. Chambermaid tidied it every day. . Bed comfortable. Air conditioning OK. Shower OK. Would have appreciated a little notice on exactly how it worked. Breakfast good overall. Coffee excellent. Bread, cheese and plain yogurt OK. Would have appreciated a little more fresh fruit. Location excellent. Not sure however how a wheelchair user would have accessed the hotel because of steps at the front. [Probably a way in around the back.]

good location - 2 star rated as 3 star
Overpriced for standard of room. A/C was poor and noisy. This is a 2 star standard at best. Staff were mostly helpful. Having parking was a great benefit and the locality to the town was good and Avignon central station even better

Staff made the difference
Inside Avignon's ancient city walls, it's close to everything. Parking is behind and secure. I don't recognize title picture from where we stayed. It's a city 4 story row building. Staff is helpful and friendly. Our room was small, bathrooms need updating. Express breakfast croissant and coffee or larger choices, can be bought in nice inside dinning area.

Great location - within walking distance of the entire city centre. Staff bilingual and very helpful. Free parking on site (but limited # of spots.) We opted to leave the car parked for the 3 nights we spent there as we could walk everywhere.

Friendly hotel with decent sized rooms.
Only criticism was the lack of a wall mount for the shower. You had to stand in the bath and hold the shower head.

Probably a traditional old French hotel the room was very dark without the lights on. The check in experience was not very pleasant and later when my partner talked to the staff member she was rude to him.

Friendly staff, newly and tastefully refurbished and comfortable- but would recommend a hand rail and shelf for soap in, otherwise, excellent shower. Very quiet street I didn't require breakfast.
