The OK: 1) No pool 2) Nothing much for kids to do on the property 3) Breakfast for vegetarians is fruits. Upon asking the previous night, the next day they served rice-beans burrito. "Breakfast was wonderful and fresh. staff were so friendly and helpful. They help set up excursions. The owner was so kind and helpful. He pointed out wildlife that you could see around the property. family friendly. It is a little bit away from the town but we liked being more in nature. the stars were so bright and the sunset was beautiful. I'd stay there again!"

"Property is good for 1 or 2 days break. The staff is excellent, but internet was poor and needs to be have something done. We could jot get any signals and the internet was poor, we could joy plan anything while in the hotel."

"What a gem! from a warm welcome at check in to checkout Tityra lodge was a oasis in the mountains. We stayed as a family of four and and two bedrooms. The lodge was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and although small there was plenty of choice. They even remembered my wife’s allergy which was mentioned at check in and highlighted unsuitable foods. We used the hot tub which was a lovely treat. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk around the boundary trail. It is a car drive from monteverde so would recommend if you have a car."
