"This property was clean, comfortable, convenient to town (walkable), and fully equipped for our son, his wife, and three boys ages 5 to 12. (We rented the place for them.) The owner was very responsive and communicative. We reported loose railings on the front porch, which she said she would have fixed ASAP. Most of the bedrooms are upstairs (one is on the main floor), and the only full bathroom is on the main floor, so that's a challenge for anyone sleeping upstairs who must rise in the night to use the bathroom. It's just a fact that potential renters should keep in mind - but it's a great getaway place for most families."

"My husband & I wanted a relaxing spot to stay for our first trip "up north." This property was perfect for us! It's centrally located - within 30 minutes of Petosky, Charlevoix, Boyne Mountain - in charming Boyne City, that's a fun & welcoming town with a beautiful lake front, shops/restaurants/activities, but fewer crowds. The house itself is as pictured - no surprises. We appreciated the onsite parking and the privacy fence around the outdoor space. The house was very clean and had a large, well-stocked kitchen, nice-sized bathrooms that were also thoughtfully stocked, and a laundry room. Bedrooms had ample space and storage, and the bed in our room was very comfortable. We initially questioned whether this home would have too much space for just the two of us, but we found that it felt cozy and "just right" during our 8-day stay. I think families will find this house 'lives large,' and would enjoy all the thoughtfully planned spaces, as well. Great place, friendly owners, quiet neighborhood, fun town! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
