Lovely accommodations, well thought out arrangement for a small space. Had everything we needed and a few unexpected treats. Hosts were quick to respond to questions and provided helpful insight to enjoying local attractions. Perfect stay for the couple that wants to stay close to the action yet have a quiet retreat to return to.

Simply wonderful!
I can’t say enough about this place. Great location, close to everything and very walkable. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated. So many thoughtful extras that I’ve never experienced in any other place I’ve stayed. Shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, shaving cream….all top of the line. The host, Barbara, registered our car so we could park on the street with no worries. Ample street parking and it’s only one block from Congress and it’s just the perfect location. That area rocks. So many great shops and restaurants. Loved it. Plus you have your own thermostat and ceiling fan. Barbara even left us a bottles of wine and a few beers in the refrigerator. Even though she respected our privacy I would’ve loved to meet her. My kind of lady. Thank you for a man unforgettable trip to Austin. Highly recommend.

Great place close to South Congress.

We wanted to be in SoCo for our Austin trip and had a rental car with us so this place was perfect! Barbara and Robert were extremely responsive and welcoming hosts (emailing them and receiving replies within minutes when required!). As soon as you walk into their private suite, you know they are serious about making sure their guests feel comfortable from the get-go and have everything they need. It feels so refreshing to experience this level of service and have all the amenities available. From the ease of the parking pass to the well-equipped room (cleaning, cooling, food prep and clothes maintenance items), I would not even hesitate to pick this place again to stay in. Location-wise, you can't beat it. A 12ish minute drive from the airport and you're a quick 7 mins walk away from the SoCo food staples like Hopdoddy burgers, Torchy's Tacos (5 min walk), Homeslice pizza and other boot/hat/clothing stores. Thank you once again to Barbara and Robert for making our stay in Austin a comfortable and memorable one.

Great stay
This is probably the best VRBO we have stayed in and we are frequent users. Basically one room, but so much to offer. Hostess has almost anything you might need plus extras. She was readily available for any questions or concerns. The deck was great. Great location. Will book again if we return to Austin.

Home Away From Home
We have stayed at a lot of great VRBO’s but this one was exceptional. Roomy, comfortable, clean, great amenities, and lots of extras that made you feel like you were staying with friends or family. Owner was super nice and accomodating. Location was great. Literally steps from S Congress. Perfect!

Great host in amazing location!
This room was in a super convenient location in SoCo and an easy walk to lots of great things! Our host stocked our fridge with tons of goodies and provided a detailed binder with all of the happenings in the area. The tree in the front yard is lit up with Christmas lights which makes those 2am bar walks home easier lol Our flight was delayed by 7 hours and we were allowed to hang out until it was closer to time to leave. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the SoCo area!

Great Location-Well-equipped Studio-Awesome Hosts
We had a wonderful time staying at the Eva Street Retreat! The room was as shown, a perfect size for two, so comfortable! The extra touches left for us were incredibly generous and sweet (wine, beer, snacks, water, toiletries of every type imaginable, and more...). We had the opportunity to chat briefly with the super friendly and kind hosts, which was great. And location... you couldn't ask for a better location- super quiet, but just a 5 minute walk to lively So. Congress. We can't wait to return!

Charming home close to everything but very quiet and peaceful - sitting on the porch in the morning among the trees was wonderful. The location in SoCo is ideal. Parking pass was key. Very thoughtful hosts provided great amenities. Hope to stay again when visiting my daughter at UT. Highly recommend!

Perfect location, lovely property
I had a wonderful stay here while visiting my daughter. The location of the unit is close to great restaurants and shopping. The unit itself was comfortable, very cute and had every amenity you could want. Extra touches like wine and mixed nuts, as well as travel size toiletries made it extra comfortable and homey. I would love to stay here again in the future.

Excellent place to stay!
The property was very clean and comfortable. It was full of light in the daytime and very quiet at night, even though it's just one block from very lively South Congress Avenue. There are lots of places to eat, drink and shop in the area, all in walking distance. The hosts were very discreet and provided excellent instructions in advance of our stay. All in all, it was a great getaway!

Nice, cute little hidden gem
The room was very tucked away from the main drag and was very quiet. Very clean. Bed was amazing. Supplies provided were generous. Only downsides were the lack of a functional area to relax like a sofa and table with chairs to eat. The furniture was nice but very delicate. Overall I would recommend.

Perfect place to stay in Austin!
This is the perfect place to stay in Austin! The location can’t be beat, one block off of all the shops and restaurants off South Congress. It’s the perfect size for two people and has lovely details in the space. Deborah is the most wonder host and has created the perfect VRBO for your trip to Austin. The VRBO is perfectly appointed, with thoughtful touches like Topo Chico in the refrigerator, soft towels, any amenities or sundries you might’ve forgotten, and the most comfortable bed that is perfect to sink into after a long day of exploring Austin! I can’t recommend this VRBO enough and am already looking forward to reserving it again the next time I’m in Austin!

If your thinking of staying in Austin, this is the VBRO to book! Beautiful room, gorgeous bath, quiet, and all the amenities you could ask for. Barbara is a wonderful, spot on host. Perfect peaceful retreat!
Barbara and Robert’s guest sweet is a lovely, quiet spot right around the corner from South Congress’s buzzy strip of eclectic shops and restaurants. It made the perfect retreat for a long weekend in Austin. The hosts made it extremely easy to check in, and I loved the thoughtful touches and helpful additional info that greated me on arrival. The space is quiet, cozy and they’ve really thought of everything a guest might need to be comfortable. Thank you!

Quiet refuge in bustling South of Congress
The Suite is cozy, quiet, and convenient. It has all the amenities you need whether attending a festival (as I was) or just visiting. Walking distance to the iconic SoCo part of town and biking distance to downtown, I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The amenities are simple, but perfect -- a mini-fridge and coffee was all I needed, but there's also a hot plate if you want to cook. Barbara was a friendly and considerate host. Highly recommended!

Great place just a block from South Congress and walking distance to South First. Very carefully appointed with all you might need or want when you're traveling, including beer, wine and snacks, plus picnic blankets, umbrellas, sunblock and various sundry items. Super friendly and gracious owners too.

Great location!
This is a clean suite within owner's home. You can hear their conversations and when they're up so I assume they could hear their guests as well. This didn't bother me but if you're a rambunctious renter keep it in mind. Owners are very friendly and available. The room includes a microwave, hot plate and dorm fridge for light meals. Location is easily walkable to South Congress strip and just a few miles walk to downtown. It's very easy to find and felt very safe regardless of time of day. I had no issues using ride shares like Über to get to the airport and McKinney Falls State Park. They have plenty of towels, soap, TP and other basics. In addition, there's some convenient supplies like razors, aspirin, sunscreen, etc. If I were visiting the area again I would stay here. However, if I go back to Austin I might focus more on the 6th St/downtown area.

The suite is very up to date with clear evidence of the owners’ pride to be offering it to guests. It was clean and fresh with many kind amenities: bottles of wine, beer, nuts, chocolate, and popcorn for its microwave.

Absolutely Perfect!
This private suite has it all. Quiet, cozy and comfortable with the perfect little added touches. Drinks in the fridge, candy in the candy jar, robes in the closest, and the most comfortable bed. Self check-in couldn't have been any easier and Barbara communicated very quickly. If you enjoy the South Congress area, you can't get much closer. Leave your car and walk over to some great restaurants and shopping. I will definitely be back!

Clean, neat, attractive and a stone’s throw away from hip SoCo.
We had a lovely time and the neighborhood was very homey. True, we did feel like the oldest people in the ‘hood but no one treated us like we stood out. What did we like best? Definitely the Lady Bird Johnson wildflower center, the wonderful meals we had and , of course , the Congress Street bats.

Lovely place right in the heard of SoCo
This is the perfect location for exploring the city. Easy walking distance to tons of music, food and shopping. Convenient to all the other neighborhoods in Austin. The street and suite were much quieter than expected. There are kids next door, but they were rarely out when we were in the room. The bed is a Tempur Pedic bed and we slept great and woke up without any back pain. Lots of pillow densities to choose from. The coffee and other goodies were a welcome addition and eliminated or typical first stop to the grocery store. Will stay here again when we get back to Austin!

Super Comfy and Convenient to South Congress
The suite was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The hosts added so many thoughtful amenities to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. There was complimentary wine and beer and a candy dish filled with treats! The suite was a short 5 to 10 minute drive to downtown and a quick walk to all the South Congress shops and restaurants. We will definitely plan to come back for future visits.

Lovely property and space in South Congress!
This lovely space is cozy and perfect. The suite is very comfortable and stocked with everything you need. The location is walking distance to many great restaurants, food trucks, bars & lounges! That being said, the suite is very quiet and peaceful upon your return from exploring. Barbara & Robert are wonderful hosts and we wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. We really didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful space, great location, lovely host!
The room is absolutely beautiful! We stayed for three nights, and the location was perfect for a friend's wedding - we were never more than a 5 minute walk from anything! Barbara has thoughtfully made available anything you might need, and the wine and beer in the suite were greatly enjoyed. The bed is incredibly comfortable with crisp bedding and lots of blankets. I would absolutely recommend this space to anyone wanting to be near SoCo - you will definitely not be disappointed!

The space here is perfect for a couples getaway. We were greeted warmly by the host and their charming dog, given the lay of the land, and left to our devices. Everything was very comfortable and clean, and the owners provided many unexpected extras that were very thoughtful. The location to Congress is phenomenal, just a short walk to many great restaurants, bars, and shops. You really couldn't ask for more in a place to stay if you're looking to stay in the heart of Austin. We would definitely return!

Perfect location, great hosts!
I stayed Barbara & Roberts for a weekend in April with Mom. The location was walking distance to the majority of things we did, and a quick drive to the rest of our activities - we could not have hand picked a better location. As far as the room, it was bigger than expected, the Double Bed was very comfortable, the beer/wine was a wonderful surprise, and we had everything we needed. Barbara was very responsive and helpful as a host, and accommodated a last minute request of ours, which was appreciated by us both. If I travel again to Austin, I would definitely stay here!

This Place Was PERFECT!!!
The suite was spacious and beautifully appointed. Our hosts had thought of everything. We couldn't believe all they had left for us....a bottle of red wine, a bowl of fresh nuts, and one of candy. The fridge had beer, sparkling water, a bottle of white wine, and a bottle of chilled water. Everything we needed was there. The location couldn't have been better - a short walk from the SoCo district. And our hosts were WONDERFUL. What a find this was!
