The castle was the perfect place to bring our adult-kids together for some family-time. We stayed in Jeff's castle for 10 days. There were up to 10 of us there. The castle is very spacious, and there are many outdoor spaces to enjoy as well! Each bedroom has a ensuite bathroom, and there are a couple of beds in the common space upstairs that are helpful to have. We spent most of our time at the castle and the lake; there was little need to go elsewhere. We look forward to returning.

As always, had an amazing time at the castle this weekend. The house was in great shape, very clean, and had everything we needed for a great weekend. This year the water was up in the lake which provided a great cool off in the summer heat. Jeff had floats lined up and ready for our stay. We’ll be back again next year!

Fun Bachelorette Weekend

Awesome Castle on the lake

I have had staying in a castle on my bucketlist for years and I was excited to find one in the Austin area. It's beautiful, comfortable, and has a ton of room. The view is incredible!

Girls Getaway

Our friend group was looking for a getaway location with beautiful views and enough beds for us to all sleep comfortably. Jeff’s property offered that and a fully equipped kitchen that we took great advantage of. The castle has lots of nicknacks that are really interesting and the sunset view can’t be beat.

Castle on Lake Travis is amazing!

Cool Castle on Lake Travis

Great location, and Jeff was great. Flexible and we had a great time kayaking out to the island. Would recommend this place for families or groups with 6-10 people. Kitchen and grills were great too!

Our Time With Kids and Grandkids

We had a wonderful time, swimming in the lake, hanging out at the castle, exploring the area, boating on the lake and playing at the local water park. We had 2 great meals at the nearby Beachside Billy’s located at the water park. Lots to do and Jeff was very accommodating.

Amazingly magical experience!

What an amazing and unique vacation!!!! My family of 4 and my brother's family rented out the castle for spring break. Jeff met us upon arrival and gave us a tour. He was so kind and told us so much history about the castle and it's artifacts. The teens had a absolute blast. They went fishing, exploring the property and spent the day rowing out to island. The adults spent time enjoying the amazing view and relaxing. Jeff was so accommodating and helpful. If you are looking for a unique experience, this is the place!!!!

Most unique place we have ever stayed. Plenty of parking, access to a dock on the water, plenty of things to do that are provided(paddle board, kayak, canoe, cornhole, board games, etc). So many different trinkets around the house. Absolutely amazing house and host.

Bachelor party

Great stay, had plenty if great accommodations. Get your groceries you’ll want or need for the stay and that’s it. We did not leave. You don’t want to either, great space outside and inside. The water is always there when you want to swim or even go boating/jet skiing.

Extremely satisfied with our stay

This is our 2nd time staying with Jeff, and as always it was 5 star experience, breathing views, boat, paddle boarding, floating pads , grills , potato gun was the biggest entertainment for our kids. All this been offered and we have used every single amenities . Jeff is very pleasant and hospitality oriented I am recommending Jeff's castle to everyone who want to have unforgettable life time memories!

Great time on Spring break.

The host was very helpful and available. Castle and all the decor was a hit with the kids. Lake is a short walk down the hill and he even took us out on his boat to tour the lake and anchor for some drinks and a swim. We just had to pay a captain fee for his time. We had an enjoyable Spring Break and would recommend the place.

Great Views from the Castle!

Our host was very helpful but unobtrusive. We used the free dual kayak to visit the nearby island. The local restaurant featured a live duck sitting at the bar. (Did he say "Put it on my bill?") Plentiful wildlife on walks included friendly deer and a rooster who wished me good morning. We had plenty of privacy and enjoyed several nearby restaurants.

Multiple Stays at the Castle

This was our 6th stay at the castle hosted by Jeff. As always, he was a great host, gave great instructions for check in process, and made sure we’re good after our departure. Truly one of my favorite rentals in the lake Travis area, we’re already planning our trip back for next year. Just want to say thanks again to Jeff for always providing top notch service, a clean and tidy living space, and providing our group of friends with a yearly weekend escape to relax and recharge. Fun time with extended family

We had a fun time at the house and Jeff was so kind to take us out on his boat! Our two teenage boys also explored the lake with Jeff’s kayaks. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. House is filled to the brim with interesting collectibles.

D&D & BBQ getaway in a CASTLE!

This is a bucketlist getaway for me and my long time friends. We knew we were going to travel to the area and go on a BBQ crawl while dungeon crawling and what better way that to do it in a castle on a beautiful lake?! Jeff is a fantastic and gracious host who gave us a thorough tour of the property and walked us through the house rules and extra rental options available. We mainly stayed on the first 2 floors and if we had just a couple more days would have spent more time on the top of the castle. Nice fantasy touches through out helped to complete the week for us. Thank you Jeff!

Authentic to Austin vibe

Pros: Property can adequately accommodate large parties. Good location and beautiful views. Very friendly and accommodating host. He was available to us 24/7. Eclectic decor. Lots to look at and owner was very generous letting us use all things on property, grills, smokers, binoculars, speakers, fire pits etc. Cons: The kitchenware needs to be updated. Pots and pans had not been properly cleaned before being stored. Tons of plastic plates and cups were provided but they were very well used. Bathroom towels need to be updated. We visited when the lake was 80%full. We had decided not to use the boat because the dock was inaccessible. The owners description on the challenges on accessing the doc is accurate. The rooftop on the property needs some love. It was not as described in the video. Not a home for young, unattended, children. This is great home for large, young adult groups. It’s an experience and adventure. Little bit crazy but definitely kind of cool. Definitely authentic to the Austin vibe!
