Lake front retreat at the Island on Lake Travis -1

  • *** We offer discounted monthly rental rates during winter months (November to February)***
    Beautiful lakefront villa overlooking Lake Travis and the surrounding hill country. Relax in this resort style gated community and enjoy the two landscaped outdoor pools and hot tubs. We also have a indoor heated pool, hot tub and dry sauna which makes this place a perfect winter get away too. There is a well equipped gym and tennis courts on the property for the guest to use. We are also conveniently located close to the onsite restaurant and spa. The restaurant is open for limited hours over the weekends. We also have washer and dryer for guest to use. The kitchen is well equipped with stainless steel pots and pans, coffee maker, microwave, blender, and toaster. The living room has a sofa bed that opens to be a queen size bed. Bedroom had a queen size bed and gorgeous views of lake and hill country. Enjoy the sun set in the evenings from out balcony while watching boats cruising around, its magical! The limit for number of guests is 4. If you would need more room please see our adjoining property, Villa 2, which is right next door and can sleep an additional 4 people for a total of 8 guests. We consider 1 night rentals over weekday. If you wish to book for a night during weekdays, please ask.

Comfortable retreat on Lake Travis

Came to Lago Vista to visit family and found staying at this nearby resort was perfect for me. There were swimming pools, beautiful views and plenty of deer. Very calming.

Relaxing place

We needed to get away for a few days and relax. That is exactly what we did. Place was quiet and relaxing. Spectacular views also helped with our mini vacation. We will definitely stay at the same unit again!

This place is amazing. This is our second time staying in this same Condo. As always the hosts is amazing. The Condo was clean and always enjoy the balcony. Great relaxing stay me and my wife really never left the condo. Great experience and the lake is peaceful. Staying away from the city life is very relaxing. Definitely going to come back next year.

Amazing Weekend Break

This was a great getaway from our busy lifes in the city. The nature and country style surroundings was amazing. Feeding the deer was peaceful. I recommend anyone to stay in this room close to the elevators and alot of space. Very clean and any questions the host was quick to respond. Me and my wife will be coming back to this spot.

Wonderful Scenery

This property has a wonderful view of the Colorado River and we enjoyed our time at the outdoor hot tub. Unfortunately the indoor pool was closed which we were not aware of. There are several nice parks in the vicinity. Recommend to prepare meals on site as close by restaurants are scarce.

Relaxing Vacation

We enjoyed our stay, and the view of the lake from our balcony. Jaya, our host was very responsive to our needs. It s so sad that the smell from the river is so strong but it didn’t stop the boaters, paddle boarders, kayakers. We ate at the The Grill one night, food was pretty good, and I would recommend not sitting in front of the entertainers speakers if you want to visit with your table mates, but the guitarist was amazing. If we have a chance, we will definitely go back again.

Just needed some time away

If you are looking for a quiet location this is the place to be. I was glad to know that the place was not overly busy especially on the 4th of July weekend. Check in was very easy however as I was by myself it would have been convenient if there had been a cart to help with belongings. My daughter has stayed at the island properties before and there were carts to make the transition from the parking lot to the room easier. The garage parking was nice especially in the Texas heat. Bed was comfortable and the room was nice however I was a bit disappointed to find that there were dirty towels in the washing machine and the internet wifi was extremely slow for the tv. I am glad the facility has three pools and a couple of hot tubs. It does spread out the amount of people in the pool and Makes the hot tubs more available. I will say that I would have appreciated a heads up before renting that the indoor pool was going to be resurfaced and therefore closed during my stay. Accessing the indoor facility would have been nice during the heat of the day. Overall I had a pleasant time and would stay at the property again.
