We did the Fairmont Gold experience and were pleased with the services available. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast and large assortment of canapés each day. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and very helpful!

Beautiful hotel. Great location. Easy to park. Friendly staff with great customer service. They have really good recommendations if you don’t have plans for the day. The rooftop pool is awesome! It’s not crowded before 11 or after 6. During service hours, you just have to get there early for a chair. The food is amazing whether it’s by the pool, room service, gold lounge, or the restaurants. We would stay again in a heartbeat

The hotel rooms and staff were wonderful. From the valets, to front desk, to bellmen, to cleaning staff, they were friendly and attentive. We stayed in the Gold area, which had its own lounge with complimentary breakfast, snacks, appetizers and desserts. Food was great and the view was nice. Room was well appointed with comfy beds and a nice bathroom. There is a lot of construction going, which did cause some degree of noise even on the 35th floor and the room surrounding the hotel is a bit sketchy with panhandlers, etc. The only negative about the hotel property was the pool area. The pool itself was nice but the pool deck was cluttered with used towels, empty glasses, food wrappers, etc. with no one (apparently) tasked with cleaning them up. We arrived to find all but a few chairs occupied by used, wet towels from since-departed swimmers. No one offered us drinks or anything either, which seemed odd given how nice the hotel is.

The Gold Experience is worth every penny!
Seriously one of the best experiences! I stayed 3 nights for a convention...the room was great, can't beat the location, but the service is absolutely what stood out the most! The lounge for the Gold Experience was fantastic and a welcome respite for the demands of always being "on" for a convention. Even when there was a slight mishap with a dining experience (and being in hospitality, I know mistakes will happen,) management reacted immediately and went above and beyond to make everything right. I wholeheartedly recommend this property!

Wonderful hotel right downtown next to convention center. The gold experience was excellent. Check in was fast, great breakfast and attentive staff. Room was spacious and clean. Looking forward to our next stay there with warmer weather to take advantage of the pool.

the gold level is amazing , great lounge open all day with full breakfast/ great happy hour snacks, and great views!! would highly recommend this hotel for location and all amenities! The staff was also 5 star, great experience .

A Nice Stay
A really nice stay. The Gold Club option is the way to go. Car parking is expensive @$50 per day, so beware of that. The only minor criticism is that many of the ladies cleaning the rooms spoke no English whatsoever, so trying to ask for anything was impossible. That said, a great stay, when I go back to Austin I'll definitely use this hotel again.

Best Hotel Stay
The staff in the Gold Lounge went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Extremely friendly. We were celebrating mine and my daughter’s birthday and they ensured our birthdays were extra special! The hotel was beautiful. The room was a little small when we added a cot for our son; however both kids enjoyed having their own bed to sleep in. They offered shuttle rides to anywhere 1 mile from the hotel in a beautiful BMW. So convenient for us as it was pouring rain and we were taken to the museum. The driver took the time to email me dinner recommendations after she dropped us off. This hotel stay was the highlight of our trip!

Beautiful Upscale Hotel.
The Fairmont Austin is a beautiful classy hotel. Nothing to complain about there. Parking could be a little less then $50 a day though. Also, should check events scheduled as never know when they have an event that will also be at the hotel pool.

It was ok. Place looks a bit dated. Diff crowd vibe. We had gold package but lounge was very busy and not clean. I guess they had dreamcon in Austin. Staff was attentive and helpful.
