Well appointed contemporary yet warm and welcoming open-air home features dual living areas, chef’s kitchen, Thermador Masterpiece Oven+Warming Drawer, Thermador French-door fridge and gas cooktop. Floor-to-ceiling windows and front deck provide unobstructed views to Lake Austin. Dine at elegant eight-seat Cantoni Italian designer table with white leather chairs. Six-place breakfast set overlooks pool & backyard. Four bedrooms each feature private full bathrooms. Enjoy oasis backyard with private pool, heated spa, propane grill and live oaks towering above chaise loungers. ~ten minutes from Austin Country Club, Zilker Park, SXSW, ACL Fest and downtown. Property is not waterfront, but Westlake Beach (right across the street) is waterfront.

Less than one minute walk to Westlake Beach (not affiliated with our Property) - a waterfront business where Guests have the option to pay for access to Lake Austin. Nominal Westlake Beach Guest access fee is not included. Property is conveniently located 6.9 miles west of downtown Austin's famous Congress Avenue Bridge.

Plan to log into our smart TVs using your own streaming service credentials to access your subscriptions. Host does not include cable TV access or streaming services. Multilevel home features bedrooms on floors 1 and 3. Kitchen, dens and dining are on level 2. Owner speaks live with each guest before any reservation becomes final.

Amazing Estate

My family and I had a wonderful experience staying at this estate in Austin during Memorial Day weekend. Five adults and three preteen children were very comfortable there. Beautiful pool, with a gas bbq perfect for grilling dinner while the children swam. Nice and quiet location, which looked and felt as through we were in the Hollywood Hills. Gracious host, whom was extremely attentive and provided fantastic recommendations for activities, restaurants, etc. Five star experience!

Girls Trip

We had such an amazing time staying at this lovely home. It was so clean and spacious with an amazing front deck and a view of Lake Austin. The added bonus was the pool and hot tub which we really enjoyed using. It had plenty of bedrooms to fit our large group and the beds were exceptionally comfortable with nice bedding and pillows. The house is conveniently tucked in Westlake Hills which is beautiful and close to downtown. The host wa very responsive in answering any questions we had before we arrived.

Lake Austin Retreat

Everything about the stay and the interactions with Charlie and Margo from reservation to checking out were exceptional. The communications, clarity of instructions about operating the home,response to every text and the level of details were wonderful. The home is a beautiful, well maintained property with great design features and luxury appointments. The property is stocked with everything you can possibly need down to the pool towels. Highly recommend.

Great for large groups

We stayed here as a group of 7 adults and 2 kids. The house is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, and the hosts, Charlie and Margot, were both very communicative and accessible before and during the stay. The hot tub was great; we didn’t have a chance to use the pool. The outdoor deck area overlooking the lake was also a great place to catch up. The kitchen/pool/hot tub /master bedroom are upstairs: the other bedrooms are downstairs. All have their own bathrooms which was very convenient. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would recommend Charlie’s property to anyone with a large group!

Just Dreamy !

Our extended family gathered in Austin for our niece's graduation from UT. We needed a central hub to gather and enjoy one another. We hit the jackpot when we found Charlie's beautiful home. It was comfortable and brilliantly designed and incorporated the lush surrounding nature into the architecture. There is wonderful shade provided by the many mature trees. The bedrooms are arranged in such a way that there is plenty of privacy when needed. The front deck was a lovely place to sit and chat and have morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The young ones enjoyed the pool and others relaxed in the spacious hot tub. The neighborhood is a gem in the hills overlooking the Austin skyline. Charlie was super communicative and available to answer any questions before and during our stay. We would highly recommend this special home and should we ever return to Austin, this is where you'll find us.

The house is beautiful and spacious. Worked great for our large family, as we had lots of privacy while still able to gather for meals and movies. Kitchen was very well appointed and the hot tub was delightful. We will definitely stay again!

This was a perfect home for our family reunion! The home is stunning and the view of the lake is so serene. We enjoyed the pool during the day and the front porch for evening cocktails. The location was perfect for all that we wanted to do, from hanging out at Zilker park to day trips in the surrounding hill country. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had. Wonderful property!
