Charming, Historical Home, Walk to Downtown- Eastside Nightlife!

Cozy and unique. The Holly neighborhood is dubbed by Time Out magazine "coolest neighborhood in the world," in the heart of East Austin! This home is 1 mi from the center of downtown, in the middle of the creative, Eastside action. You will be in the midst of foodie heaven, live music, and art studios. My guidebook is filled with local info of the best places locals go, you will not find this info in a travel guide. W-fi is fast, AC is cold. Experience historic East Austin!

The home is a historic part of East Austin history, built in 1910. Relax and visit on the welcoming front porch with a porch swing and rocking chair to comfortably lounge and watch the Eastside action. Ideal for travelers wanting to be close to Austin's restaurants, nightlife, and walking trails that wind through downtown at Lady Bird Lake.

There are three bedrooms, beds are very cozy and comfortable with extra blankets on hand and memory foam mattresses. The bedrooms all have room darkening/blackout curtains and ceiling fans. The home also has central air conditioning.

Bedroom one: Plush, giant, king sized bed
Bedroom two: Soft queen sized bed and a twin futon.
Bedroom number three: Full sized bed over a twin and two twin sized beds bunk beds.
The couch can comfortably be used as a bed and a blow-up mattress is available. The total possible beds = 9

The Kitchen:
* Fully equipped with utensils, dishes, glassware, coffee maker, toaster, and basic cooking apparatus.
* Granite counter tops and a gas stove make cooking easy and enjoyable. The dining room table is long enough to fit a large group around it.
* Tall ceiling with a ceiling fan provide a comfortable room to cook and hang out together.
* Record player on the dining table if you'd like to put one on while you cook. Willie Nelson, Dollly, Nirvana. It's a mash up.

The Living Room:
*Cozy and snug with a long sectional couch and a leather sofa loveseat to gather around.
* Large smart TV with streaming capabilities.
* Relax and enjoy the front porch as well from the living area. The ceilings are high and the ceiling fan is an antique piece.
* The focal point of the room is the New Orleans piano. Feel free to play a tune if you are inspired to do so.

The Bathroom:
* Tub/shower combo.
* Shampoo/conditioner/body wash are provided as well as a hair dryer.
* Washer and dryer: free for you to use- laundry soap is provided.

Private, fenced back yard with yard games and a shaded picnic table. Lots of seating.

There is an arcade game with Pac-Man and other vintage games and an ax throwing game outside in the fenced and private back yard.

At night, if you look up, you will see one of Austin's last remaining Moontower. These light used to be the system used to light up the city before street lights were installed.
