Great Barton Hills duplex
This was our second stay in this wonderful duplex. Cynthia and Peach are wonderful hosts (we have rented from them for ten years), and they have made this rental vacation ready ( jyst bring your clothes). The duplex is very comfortable and the location is hard to beat. We will be back again! Thank you!

Cozy and well stocked
Family of 4 visiting family over the weekend. Check-in was easy, communication was strong. The property is in a great location to access the Greenbelt and downtown as well as South Austin where our family lives. So many great restaurants and shops to explore nearby. The beds were comfortable and the unit was well stocked with everything we needed and more. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back in the future!

Cute house in beautiful Zilker neighborhood
Seamless access, great neighborhood with green spaces close to downtown. Super clean. King bed could be more comfy. For some reason we kept smelling marijuana but then again so does pretty much the entire city.

Wonderful, restful location
Property was well thought out and accommodation. Lot's of little extras to assure a comfortable stay. Such as a additional outlets all over the unit. Well stocked kitchen with tools for cooking at home. A coffee and tea bar for all methods, drip, french press, and tea selection with an electric tea kettle. Very responsive hosts. Our AC went out and they responded within 15 minutes and had someone there to check it within another 15 minutes. If it was not fixed (which it was) they were willing to move us next door for the night.

SUPER CLEAN-Well Stocked!!
We truly enjoyed this place. Definitely one of THE cleanest places we've stayed in. Well stocked with daily needs and the location is very hilly and pretty. We were in town for Austin City Limits. Although Zilker park is near, it still requires a 20 min walk (reason for my 4 star rating on description). Listing says 2 blocks and it's a pleasant walk, just know it's an uphill climb walking back to the property from Barton Springs pool and Zilker Park. No complaints, just informing further on description. We rather enjoyed the extra workour :) I'd stay again in a heartbeat and I HIGHLY recommend it. Cindy and Peach are very good communicating before arrival with instructions and have many suggestions in a book within the property. I liked that is is privately and stand alone structure and not a typical duplex. This affords way more privacy when playing music and such. Lots of daily details we enjoyed. Quality Coffee, creamer, extra toiletries, feminine products for makeup. Overall very well stocked-all very helpful and convenient. Thank you to Cindy and Peaches for sharing this space with us. Hope to make it back again!

Highly recommend this property!
This is one of the most cleanliest and well stocked properties we've stayed at. It had everything we needed with nice little touches like condiments, sun screen, insolated grocery bags and beach towels. The beds were very comfortable and there was a good amount of space in all the rooms. We enjoyed the deck that had a nice table/chairs and a grill. We had a few questions before our stay and during our stay and the owners were very responsive. If you want a mixture of nature and the city this is the perfect location! It is within walking distance to Barton Springs and Lady Bird Lake, which were both a lot of fun. Paddleboards/kayak rentals also within walking distance, as well as a handful of restaurants and food trucks. In very close proximity to the city. There is also a walking/jogging path near by where you can go for miles. Recommendations in Austin: Terry Blacks BBQ, Amy's Ice Cream, The Speakeasy, the Segway capitol/ghost/bat tour.

Wonderful place to stay
This duplex was incredibly clean and cozy; perfect for our winter weekend stay. The Reynolds were very helpful and provided an abundance of amenities including Austin travel guides, board games, Netflix, couch covers for our dogs, laundry detergent, and facial wipes! If you’re looking to stay in Austin, we highly recommend staying at this duplex for its convenient location as well. When we revisit Austin, we’ll definitely stay here again!

A fantastic place to stay!
We loved our stay at this property. The owners have provided anything you could possibly need, from extra pillows and blankets to tissues to laundry detergent. Everything is labeled and clearly laid out, with an incredible amount of detail (much appreciated!). The location is perfect for neighborhood walks and exploring Zilker Park. We are already thinking about when we can come back and do all the things we didn’t have a chance to do on this trip.

They Thought of Everything
My sister and I stayed here for a quick getaway to see the holiday Trail of Lights at Zilker. It’s a great little apartment. The owners really thought of everything - fully stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds and pillows, comfy furnishings, little area guides, and great decor. The whole place was very clean. The area is very convenient to everything in central Austin and incredibly close to Zilker and Barton Springs. It’s a quiet, clean, and safe area in a great little part of the city. Reservation, check-in, and check-out were super easy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend that you check it out.

Great Austin getaway
My husband and I stayed at the Park Place duplex while visiting family in South Austin. The location is ideal with great access to Barton Springs trail -- perfect for walking and jogging! The duplex is very clean and accessible. Very comfortable beds and stocked with all the essentials. The owners are awesome and very helpful. We have stayed at several of their properties over the years and have never had anything but an outstanding experience. Thanks again!

Perfect Location
This location was ideal for our visit! Located in a nice quiet neighborhood and close to the park, biking, down town and a short drive to South Congress. We had easy access to everything we wanted to experience in Austin. We traveled with our 17 and 20 year old sons and the house was a perfect size for us. The living area has plenty of seating for movies and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Accessible and all inclusive!
We love our annual trip to Austin, and this year we had the pleasure of staying at this property. Everything was as described in the listing and more...it really is all the special little touches - shampoo/conditioner/body wash, toothbrush holders, makeup wipes...Owners even offered a bed rail and sleeping mat for our kiddos and an air popper popcorn maker! It made their trip :) It was also our first trip with our son’s wheelchair, and this condo really made it so easy with the ramp and even the roll in shower. Location also great being right next to Zilker. Cannot say enough great things about this place, and can not wait to return! Thank you, Cynthia!

Quiet Retreat in the Trees
We LOVED staying in this amazing duplex! We stayed 3 nights and it was a great base to move our older son into his first apartment, for his sophomore year. It was great to have easy free parking and we loved escaping the heat and traffic of Austin. We enjoyed our coffee (that was provided) on the peaceful deck in the trees each morning. We day tripped to Wimberley’s Blue Hole and Barton Springs and enjoyed using the beach towels, noodles, and cooler that were provided. We made an evening of visiting the nearby Picnic food truck park and had delicious Thai and Venezuelan meals. Hosts were very quick to respond to questions and very nicely mailed back a hat that was left behind. It was a GREAT stay! Thank you!!

Fantastic visit to Austin
This is our first visit to Austin and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The bungalow was amazing, we simply had everything provided for us, from cold glasses in the freezer for our arrival to makeup removal wipes, shower gel and shampoo, couldn’t rate this highly enough. If we visit Austin again I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Sitting on the veranda couldn’t be more relaxing and actually saw a hummingbird which was a first. A visit to Barton Springs pool was amazing, the State Capitol building very impressive and Umlauf sculpture gardens was somewhere we’d recommend too. Cynthia, Peach & Jay have a great place and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

Awesome Location, Well-Furnished
Fantastic location within 10-15 mins walk of Zilker Met Park and Barton Springs. The house was one of the best-equipped house we’ve ever stayed at, full of essentials, especially for kids. The Reynolds were extremely responsive, accommodating and helpful. I will definitely recommend this place and stay there again when we visit Austin in the future.

Excellent in every way.
I’ve stayed at many VBROs over the years, and this was the most comfortable, convention that and well-appointed experience I’ve ever had. Just excellent in every way. Many places look attractive, but for one reason or another, are not the easy to stay in for any period of time. Bad beds, uncomfortable sofas, lack of storage or counter space, etc don’t become evident until you Are there. This place was excellent in every way; ways that the VBRO pics and descriptions don’t show. We will definitely stay again on future Austin trips.

Tranquility Near the Hubbub
If you like peace and repose but want to be near the action, this is your place. Very comfortable home in a treed tranquil neighborhood, Nicest deck around. Updated kitchen, large step in shower, comfortable king bed and very accommodating hosts. Living room is no slouch either. Yes, go for it. You will love it. You don't need a car if you have Lyft or Uber. About 8 to 10 bucks for ride into downtown, a short distance away. And don't forget the "Broken Spoke." A true western honky tonk close by. It's a trip!

Great week trip
The duplex was perfect for our week stay in Austin! It’s in a great location, and everything inside worked perfectly. We received so much information about Austin in emails from the owners before the check in day, and they also provided pamphlets for local attractions inside the duplex. We were able to walk in the park, had just a short drive to get downtown, and also enjoyed staying in and watching movies.

Great property and outstanding service
We needed a place for my elderly mother for a weekend wedding in Austin that was close to downtown and easily accessible and the Park Place duplex was perfect. It is exactly as advertised and was clean and in a great location. The most impressive part of the rental though was dealing with Jay and Cynthia. They stayed in constant communication to make sure everything was satisfactory, offered lots of great information about Austin and have the property stocked with everything you need. I use to own a beach house rental property and I always went out of my way to make sure my guests had everything they needed. This is the first time I have rented a place that exceeded the level of service that I use to provide. If we need a rental in Austin again, we would no doubt contact Zilker Vacations and rent one of their many properties.

Top-notch: Great location, nice property
We were delighted to find this great apartment/side-by-sdie duplex only ten minutes from our daughter and son-in-law's house in the Zilker neighborhood of Austin for a long weekend visit. The unit is very attractive, very clean and well-maintained, well-furnished and extremely well-equipped. We've rented many properties in the U.S. and elsewhere over the years, and this one is top-notch. The owners were in good touch before, during and after our arrival. Coffee and condiments in the kitchen; lotion, shampoo and conditioner in the bath; great information on every aspect of Austin. Very comfortable and fit the bill for us.

From all the great things said about the property and the experience staying there, I am surprised by only getting a 4-star review. We plan on replacing the windows this year and hopefully putting in laminate floors in place of the carpet, so there are some improvements that could be made for sure. It's an older building, but with the new deck and ramp and being well- maintained and nicely furnished, it's very popular with our guests.

We had a lovely time. This condo is a great location. Close to all access points - Mopac, shopping, park, etc. Very centrally located. Close enough to downtown if you want to sightsee and far enough away to feel like you are in a quiet mountainside. The neighborhood is very quiet, very accessible. We walked to Holla ice cream on Barton Springs & did the 2.8 mile walk to half price books & Torchys on Lamar. My “must see” recommend is Art on 5th gallery on Lamar. The only Dr. Suess art I’ve ever seen in a gallery as well as lots of other cool artists. The home was a much better option than a hotel. Everything is clean, comfy. Very comfortable beds in the bedrooms. Everything you need to make a stay in Austin a memory for life.

nice, clean and very well stocked.
The location worked well for us and the staff seemed very accommodating, even though we didn't need to really ask for anything. It was an older building, with nice renovations and very clean. It was stocked in every way we could have needed. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend Park Place

The owners have thought of everything
What most impressed us about the property was the thought that had obviously gone into every aspect of the living experience for the renter. Instructions were clear, amenities were elegant and anything one might possibly need was available in a logical place. The space was delightful. It was an easy walk to Barton Springs Pool, but a car was necessary for all other touring. The owners are very reachable and responded to questions within minutes. We would love to return.

Cute place in a great location
My husband and I very much enjoyed our long weekend here at Park Place in Austin, Texas. The home was clean and comfortable and furnished with everything we needed. The location was great. We walked to Zilker park a number of times for swimming at the awesome Barton Springs pool and canoeing on the river and out into Lady Bird Lake. Our son, daughter-in-law and 2 year old grandson stayed with us as well and it was perhaps a little bit crowded for all of us since we had to use all the beds plus the living room sofa bed, but that isn't the fault of the owners since the place was exactly as described. We'd definitely stay here again.

Clean property and as advertised
The property was exactly as advertised: perfect location, within walking distance of many amenities and a very quite neighborhood. Since there is only room for one car on the side of the house you will need to park on street and walk up a few stairs to get to the house. It's was no problem finding multiple parking spaces.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everyone still enjoys Barton's Springs out of all we did (must be the cold water for Texas heat relief)! Was great being within walking distance! Grandkids LOVED the extra room and comfy beds! A little time spent in the balcony, was nice! We will be back!!
