"My husband and I came here for a relaxing getaway right after our wedding. The property itself was very nice, clean, cozy, and quiet and we really enjoyed our stay. The main reason we chose this hotel, however, was for the spa and a couples massage. Unfortunately, booking a massage was quite difficult, as appointments need to be booked directly with the massage therapist, who is often unavailable to speak because she is with another client. We called about a week before our stay and were told she would call us back. After not hearing back, we called again and were told she was in a massage and would call us afterward. When she eventually called, the connection was unfortunately so poor that we could barely hear her. When we arrived, we asked the front desk about booking our massages but were told they could not access the spa schedule and that we would need to wait until the massage therapist was available. By the time we were able to connect, there were no couples massage appointments available, which was the main reason we had chosen the hotel. Overall, the property is lovely, but I think a more accessible and streamlined system for booking spa treatments would greatly improve the experience!"

"The location is excellent and the outdoor amenities are quite nice. There are lots of sleeping options for a large group. While the place was clean, there were bulbs out in many fixtures, broken light switches, and the half bathroom door handle is tricky and I was stuck for a few moments. Guests should note that there is an extra charge for any extra guests on the property, even if they don’t sleep there. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were sparse. Also, bring any pantry supplies or toiletries you might need beyond liquid hand soap. I struggled with giving this a rating, because the place is fine, if a bit worn, but the experience did not match the premium price we paid."
