Very outdated and dirty.
Dirty.location worked well and size was ok. but layout very chippy did not work great for larger groups. Basement space was dark and basically worthless. But overall cleanliness was very disgusting. Had to wash dishes before using. Ants in kitchen and one bedroom. Bathroom and kitchen towels Didn’t look clean. Old paint coming off walls. Cabinets didn’t stay shut. Overall disappointing and needs overhaul.

Hi Amy. I am sorry your experience was bad. Next time you a have party at someone's home, please do a better job of hiding your evidence by taking your trash and not saying that the house doesn't work for large groups. I have a service that takes care of pest and for 6 months. I had them come out the day before your arrival and have receipt to prove that. As far as large gatherings, I thought this was you and your mother. How many people were staying at the home. You obviously used all the sleeping spaces. Why did you and your mom need to to sleep all over the house? Why did you eat 5 large pizzas? There were no bulbs out the basement and no one has ever said it a worthless space. There is no peeling paint on any walls. All towels were washed and dishes were put away. Also I live 15 minutes away and did say please contact me if you need anything . I believe your review to be unfair.

Great location with lots of room
Stayed for a little family getaway and wanted to be close to the city, but not too close. This was the perfect location! Check in was easy and I was surprised at how much room there was. The kids had their own spaces and the whole basement to play in. We would definitely stay again!

great spot for larger group
Overall had a good experience here. Had just about everything we needed — dishes, towels, keurig, etc. This does accommodate many guests, though some sleep spots are better than others. The futons in the basement were not very comfortable, and one of them seems to be a bit broken and therefore tilts once you lay in it. Great location — close to many stores, restaurants, highways, and neighboring cities. Great for the price as well.

Our family enjoyed the stay over Thanksgiving. There was plenty of room and places for everyone to hang out. The dining room was great for our family dinner and games. The bedrooms were great and our granddaughter loved the bunk bed. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our time at this property. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. Although we didn’t use the fully furnished basement-level rooms, the large screen TV, gaming computer and toys would be great for a family. The host was outstanding with communication. The neighborhood was quiet - and being able to use the garage was a real plus.

Family girls trip
The house was a great place to stay for a few nights. Neighborhood is quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, watching the squirrels or gathering inside to chat in the morning. Spent one day in Naperville, another day in Chicago. Communication with owner was great.

Minutes from Naperville

Family Funeral
My children met me at the house from different states to attend their grandfathers funeral. Other family members stayed nearby. The house was perfectly situated to make all the assorted activities easy to get to. We weren’t there much, but it seemed to be a good place to stay as there were many things to occupy us if the weather had not been so nice.

Spacious home in a cute neighborhood
My husband and I have family in both Aurora and Montgomery, IL. Every summer we fly in for a weeklong visit and try to rent a home close enough to visit everyone. This place did not disappoint. It was incredibly spacious & very clean. The backyard offers a nice semi-private space to sit and relax on the patio set. The neighborhood is great for walking. Close to everything you need. We had a slight delay at check in because the prior guests left late, but the host was very communicative and friendly throughout. The check in and check out process were seamless. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need and has a two car garage and very roomy furnished basement. Great house in a great location!

We purchased this booking for a family stay communication was great until we arrived. We encountered a late checkin, very dirty massive ANT infested home that smelled like animal urine on the main floor into garage. We had to buy ant /bug bombs to kill the the insects. We spent own money on cleaning supplies, had to clean the entire home ourselves. The master bedroom had bodily fluids on sheets, white comforter was covered with human/animal hair that we had to wash. All the bathrooms were dirty they had massive amounts of hair on the floor & tubs had not been cleaned at all. All the toilets had dried urine on the toilet seats & down the sides, one toilet had feces marks in the toilet. The floors had not been mopped or swept at all. We had to vacate the place on day 2. The host was had terrible communication & basically called us liars. The house is not cleaned by any cleaning lady. Its done inhouse hence the prior reviews all state the house was not cleaned when they arrive & one person said they had to spend an entire day cleaning. The house allows animal's we missed that part otherwise we would not have rented.The house was not kept up the grass was overgrown, weeds sprouting up house look deserted. We dont like to give bad reviews as weve rented plenty of homes on vrbo but weve never encountered anything like this-very misleading representation of the property & it doesnt sleep 13 people as advertised i have video & time stamped pics of entire house. Not as described!

This is a lie. The guest who arrived the same day you left gave my home glowing review. You just wanted a free stay. I offered you your money back if you left and you stayed the whole week . I gave you code the at 4:04 pm sorry I was late. That is about the only statement that is true. I was responsive to your email that you sent at 11:57 pm when I got it 3 am. You didn't respond to that email until your stay was over. All my reviews have been great since your stay. Goes to show that you just wanted a free stay.

Bathroom floors could have used a little more attention, and inside fridge could have used a wipe down, but house was spacious, location was great for us, bedrooms were huge, and beds ŵere comfortable. Basement was finished and had lots of room. Would stay here again.

We spent Christmas 2022 at the house. The house is big and cozy. We had family over for the holidays and it’s a great place to host for kids. The kids absolutely loved the basement set up and there was plenty of room for hosting and socializing. The house was very comfortable and clean and fully equipped with everything you need. We also had our dog and cat with us. The cat loved exploring all the rooms and the dog loved the back yard and all the cozy places to take a nap. We will definitely be booking again if available! The Pictures on the site doesn't do this house justice!! It is gorgeous.
The host of this house was amazing!! The house was clean comfortable and welcoming. The beds were so clean and comfortable that we didn't end up going to some of the places that we planned to. Perfect family house
We visited town for a family party. This house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and 3 kids. We had ample space. The house is nicely furnished, well equipped and clean. The coffee, tea, spices and other kitchen supplies were a nice surprise. Overall we had a great stay. The host was helpful and replied promptly during booking.
