"I was going to stay there after an art retreat in chateau nearby. I was taught the night before by guests at the retreat that they stayed there and left in the middle of the night because the hotel is haunted and the noises in their room was too loud they couldn’t ignore it and they left telling the owner they couldn’t stay there because there is no ac. The owner gave them a refund after a huge fight. So I thought to myself let me personally go and tell them the truth about what they told me. Now the front desk lady laughed saying she didn’t mind the ghosts. But I told her please let me talk to the owners and see if they can give me the refund so that I don’t have to go through this. I begged them on the phone. These men hysterically yelled at me telling me I’m making up stories, that I’m a liar. Now tell me why and who lies about such a thing? Let alone how uncomfortable it is to confess a truth that is superstitious to a lot of people.I am a girl, alone, so I can get scared and no one will care or bring me comfort if I am put in a bad situation so I have to try to protect myself. After a huge drama over the phone they said ok we will give you your money back but you have to pay the first night. I agreed and asked for a refund request. They said don’t worry we’ll do it ourselves via Hotels.com, we still didn’t retrieve the money. I learn after that this was a lie. They took the money and told Hotels they won’t refund. The hotel looks so old and bad I could’ve just said that"

"The property didn’t disappoint! It was exceptionally clean with a great range of activities. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, clearly putting a lot of thought into making this a great holiday experience. There were plenty of extras that kept the children entertained and the location was fantastic — the Friday market was a real highlight. Overall, a wonderful family holiday. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful gite with all the facilities you could think of. A lovely welcome package of bread, butter, jam, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar, eggs and a bottle of sparkling wine. The hosts Fran and Johnny were on hand if needed and very friendly along with their lovely children. The gite was well decorated and very clean. The pool was extremely appreciated in temps of 42 degree.Could not fault anything. Would definitely recommend this holiday home to anyone. Local areas have lots to offer. We will definitely be going back"

"We had a great week here. The house is well-equipped, and the pool is great — perfect for a group holiday. We left with plenty of happy memories. The only downside has been what happened afterwards. Two weeks on, we’re still dealing with a waste disposal fine we believe is unfair, with very unclear communication from the host. During the stay, the only issue raised with us was fixed straight away, and nothing more was mentioned. It’s a shame, because instead of just remembering the holiday, we’ve ended up discussing this when we get together. The place itself is fantastic and we’d have rated the stay higher if not for the post-holiday dispute.(Traduction automatique)Nous avons passé une excellente semaine ici.
