We had a bit of a problem getting in as the instructions were sent very late, and it’s totally automated. However, after that, communication was very good. "I loved my stay here. The apartment was small but oh so charming. I loved the balcony. I sat out there every night with a glass of wine and my book. The hostess was great to work with. She allowed early check-in when I arrived early and let me store my luggage when I had to check out but, my train out of Syracusa wasn't for a few hours. I would definitely stay here again if I were in that area."

"This hotel may have been nice at some point but needs serious updates. The smoke detector was removed with wires hanging from ceiling, you could not control your room temperature without talking to the front desk (but this was not disclosed at checking ) so we were extremely hot for several hours. We would have called them but the phone did not work. The beds are rock hard. The staff were very nice and the restaurant was excellent but a bit expensive. I would not recommend this hotel."
