Dont let the distance put you off. Taxi ride there and then you are only a 10 min walk to Batch winwry and explorer hop on hop off stop. 30 min walk down hill to the beach and another restaurant (get a taxi back up as steep!). Walking distance to the ecozip. Most fantastic veiws of the island. The pool grounds and hot tub are great. Excellently equipped new gym.

Pure nature
This is a very quiet and cosy place far out in the nature! Except the nearby airstrip you’re solely surrounded by nature. Ines communicated exceptionally well. For this place a car is highly recommended to get around. Only weakness was the unstable wifi which stopped working completely at the end of our stay.

Thank you for your feedback we are pleased you enjoyed your stay, unfortuneatly in regards to the wifi we had 45-50km winds hit the island and the towers that we run our wifi on along with other businesses on the islan were effected by this, which has now been stabilised since the weather calmed.

Not flexible, hospitality mentality is lacking
Unflexible with check in and check out times (2pm , 10am respectively). Does it take 4 hours to clean a small villa? If you charge the price of a 4-5 star hotel in an international city, the hospitality mentality to expected to go with it. Failed greatly on this.

Our check in times are clearly stated on the booking chanel you booked through and during our peak season we are often unable to offer a early check in or late check out due to maintainence, servicing as not cleaning is required. We are not based in an international city and being based on Waiheke Island in peak season all services are under huge demand so its critical to keep our high standards that we work efficently as we can within checkin and checkout times when we have back to back bookings. We have never had any bad feeback since opening with mostly 10/10 for our reviews and are able to be more fleixble with check in/check out times during our off/quieter season like all accommodation providers.

The villa was very private which is good but we were given the villa surrounded by bushes/trees so felt a bit cold at night (although it was the winter season). Would had been a bit better if we were given the one that had more sunshine and view of the lawn. Looked modern and clean and tidy inside and cozy. Overall 9.5/10 so was a happy stay.

Very clean and left us wanting for nothing. Nice bowl of fruit and a couple of beers in the fridge. Full kitchen although we chose to fine our. Luxurious bathroom and lively pool & hot tub. Serene and peaceful- would happily visit again. 😄

A gem of a place
Great place to stay as the unit had so many amenities: oven, hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee maker and microwave to name most of them. The bed was large and comfortable with very nice bed linen. Everything was new, modern and scrupulously clean. The only downside was that the villa"s location was a bit further away from the beaches and main areas for shops and supermarkets. However, most places were no more than a 15 to 20 minute drive away and 2 very good vineyards that we visited for lunch (Tantalus and Te Motu) were less than 10 minutes drive. There were fruit, water, milk and the usual basics available on arrival, however not the hotel vanity pack such as shower caps and cotton buds as it is a viila complex and not a hotel.

An absolutely wonderful spot on Waiheke to stay. The villa itself was beautiful - stunning furnishings and amenities. Everything is provided for, including some goodies in the fridge which came with no extra charge! The pool was great, and the location feels removed from everyone but at the same time is maximum a 10 minute drive to town. Can’t wait to stay here again!

A wet but sunny experience!
Despite the weather not being great, our stay (4x adults) was perfect. The view when we did see it was amazing and the villa was well kitted out at a high level with everything you needed. The hosts were friendly and took care of us very well. The only thing which wasn't great was the cable TV reception when the rain was hard!

Superbly designed and furnished, everything for a relaxing stay, including private deck screened from other villas, also lovely pool and gym. Absolute silence and great views of the island and Auckland in the distance. Great wineries very nearby with really good restaurants. Very helpful staff. Can't fault it, wished we could have stayed longer

Perfect end to a long trip
I was very excited about this accommodation, the pictures looked great and it didn’t let me down. Brand new, very stylish, lovely big comfortable bed, good shower, stunning views, very quiet. I could live there. It is remote and I’m glad we were persuaded to hire a car. Waiheke is such a beautiful island with numerous great wineries, many of which were nearby. We went to quite a few and I hope to try more next time. Would definitely stay at Villas Waiheke again.

One of the nicest stays I’ve had
Amazing location, super private and nice relaxing atmosphere. We were really looking for a place out of the way to just kick back and relax and this was perfect. Lovey views of the sunset and walking distance to a couple of beautiful wineries. Just make sure your car has a little bit of clearance for the dirt road in.

The Villas Waiheke - Totally Lovely
My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Villas Waiheke. It is a newly- built, 5-unit complex near the top of the island, the airfield, the Eco-Zipline and the Peacock Sky and Batch Wineries. It is centrally located for exploring all parts of the island (the Headlands, Oneroa, Onetangi, Forest Reserve and the Far End.) If you stay here, a car rental is a must since it is not on the bus route. We booked a 1 BR unit with large picture windows along with a complete kitchen, living room and dining area and an outside deck. All appointments are new, up-to-date and esthetically arranged. We arrived quite late and were welcomed by Bart, the proprietor and builder, as we drove in at 10 pm. He and Karla provided excellent customer service, helping us get our bearings, adjust from US to NZ connections for computers, appliances and cell phones, and giving us recommendations for dining and exploring. The panoramic views, especially at sunset, are stunning and we could see the twinkling lights of Auckland at night. The bird calls are frequent and calming and the bush has giant ferns and too many kinds of trees and plants to describe. We walked to Onetangi Beach (about 45 minutes) and although we didn't use one, you might consider hiring a taxi for the uphill return trip up Trig Hill. This is our 4th trip to NZ coming this time from our home in Maui, HI. We could not have felt more welcome or blessed by the Waiheke Island locals, epitomized by Bart & Karla.

Luxury Escape!
"Away from it all" and peaceful. Fantastic views. Walk to a couple of vineyard/restaurants, but taking the car gave us good options to explore. High quality furnishings with a great bed, combined with excellent gym and pool facilities made us reluctant to leave.

Amazing views
I asked for an early checkin and it was not a problem. The owner was lovely and very accomodating. What beautiful accommodation the bed, linen and pillows were beautiful. Fully sel-contained with everything you needed, even a BBQ too. The pool is stunning with lovely loungers. A bit too cold for a swim this time!! But we will be back in Summer. 10 out of 10
