The views were spectacular the position was perfect however the house was not up to standard nor worth the money No screens on the windows & lots of insects / glass roof to dining room made the room so hot it was unusable Crockery was miss matched cracked & chipped / leather sofas in living room cracked & worn / upholstery to dining chairs dirty & torn / No matching glassware / Oven door did no shut properly therefore took an age to head / dishwasher seal faulty & did not dry properly

Fabulous location, had wonderful stay with elderly parents who were heading back to UK. Wish we were there for longer, close to all the amenities & bird life & scenery was incredible.

Wow , what a view
Had a beautiful stay, the view is breathtaking, even from the ensuite shower. Clean , tidy and comfortable. Great, efficient contact with manager and owner when required. Definitely stay again.

What a view!

Nice view
We enjoyed the beautiful view. Unfortunately the wifi was not working our entire 5 night stay. We communicated the issue within the first hour upon arrival and although the owner was apologetic the problem was never fixed. This was a working vacation for some in the group so it was extremely frustrating. Everything else was fine.

Superb location, amazing property
We all absolutely loved our stay at this cottage. So close to the beach, incredible views, drenched in all day sun, I can’t fault this property. And the owner’s family went above and beyond to locate and return a very sentimental piece of jewellery that I accidentally left behind. I will definitely be coming back.

Peaceful getaway with spectacular views.
The house was in a very convenient, quiet and picturesque location with an easy walk to a lovely, sheltered beach and close to cafes and shops. There were a couple of maintenance issues that needed addressing and the cleaner could have done a better job. All that said, we would definitely consider renting it again for future family holidays.

Lovely home with access to public transport and an easy walk to town Loved the hot tub And the sensational view from the deck Would suggest a few more pieces of cutlery for the kitchen as 4 forks were not sufficient and a few more wineglasses Enjoyed our stay.

Dear Nancy, thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. We're not sure what happened to the forks as there are usually plenty. I apologise that this was not noted and rectified before your stay, but we are back to the full compliment of cutlery and wine glasses. Do come back again!

Awesome view and location. Hope to stay again.
The view from most of the house is superb, track and steps down from front door to beach. Spa a bonus. Beds comfortable, some distant traffic noise during day, quiet at night. Continuous hot water. Lovely decks.

Disappointed!!
Little beetles through towels (that were on the bed!) and in the carpet of back bedroom - sprayed and vacuumed twice!! Large window/frame swinging in wind by spa pool - we found a screw and temporarily screwed it at one end. Main bedroom shower mouldy! Plus shower head is not stable and if pressure too high it shoots straight up ! Loose down pipes banging in wind all night. Window by table could just be slid open - not secure. We tried to make it more secure. Some of kitchen tiles are loose. Washing machine is mouldy on inside of door on rubber seal. Condition overall was shoddy.

Superb location
Lovely property. Very clean, light and airy. Superb view. Would benefit from a heater in the spare room over winter (unless it was hidden somewhere we couldn't find it). Would definitely recommend highly.

Very much enjoyed our stay here at the cottage. Incredible views looking down on the beach. The bed was very comfortable and it has a great spa and all the necessary kitchenware provided, no problems here besides a few friendly bugs. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great Spot
Bliss Cottage is situated on a great elevated spot looking across the bay to Oneroa Beach and Village. A good place just to hang out and relax and or base yourself for exploring Waiheke Island.

Winter Break for Ocean Swim Series
Check in details not sent until over an hour after check in time. Arrived and beds not set up in configuration for two couples staying as requested. No rubbish bags supplied. Owner gave us details for Robbie -You’ve Got It Maid on Waiheke Island. She was extremely rude and unhelpful. We stayed two nights and Robbie did not get the bedding sorted for us and was very condescending about our requests. I sent the owner a couple of messages with no response. The property was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay despite the issues.

Location and property facilities were beyond our expectations. Views to die for and nice walk to the beach below. Very comfortable beds and even a shower with panoramic views. The spa was a wonderful bonus and enjoyed by all. Certainly would return. The manager was quick to respond to any issues

Fantastic Grand Stand View
Its all about the view. What a stunning position with views up Oneroa beach and out to sea. Catching the all day sun The house is well appointed with everything you need for a short or long term stay. What a bonus having a walking track in front of the property, 5 minutes straight down to Oneroa beach.

Aptly named Bliss Cottage
Property was located with spectacular views of Little Oneroa and Oneroa Beaches plus an easy walk downhill to these locations. Property was just as photos showed and we enjoyed 11 nights of relaxation. Bed was super comfy and living/kitchen areas met all our needs. Would certainly return.

This was our favorite place on our 6 week Australia/New Zealand trip. Beautiful home, close to places to eat and a good base for touring the island. We wished we had a few more days to enjoy the hospitality of Ewen. He was kind enough to let us check in early as we were coming from a cruise. Would definately stay here again and can recommend to all that want a beautiful place to stay.

A piece of paradise!
