"Lovely big property and garden, great bedrooms and ideal for large group. Rural setting and seeing the animals was a bonus. Lovely host and would stay again. Enjoyed games room. An extra dishwasher would have been good. "

"We stayed here for a friend’s birthday who lives nearby. The facilities were excellent for our needs. The property is very well equipped, and has a great garden with outdoor equipment. The nearby railway line was no problem as there were only about 2 trains per hour. Would definitely recommend."

Garden is pretty but lacks privacy - there is another rental property on the same site, so garden doubles as their access and parking ! Apparently the owners are looking at changing this. Located in a rustic farming hamlet, no shops or businesses...

"Zeer leuk huisje, proper en praktisch ingericht. Wij hebben inderdaad 3 huisdiertjes en deze hebben de tijd van hun leven gehad. Grote tuin en wandel faciliteiten in de buurt. Het huis zelf was zeer proper, goede matrassen en schattig ingericht. Veel ruimte voor een BBQ en zeker niet vergeten super buren! Kortom top verblijf in St. Josse voor gans de familie en pets!"

Our host Jacqueline was an absolute diamond, and what we both lacked in fluency in the native tongue of the other, was suitably accommodated via translation tools. La Mansarde is truly beautiful, very comfortable, within walking distance of fine restaurants and with the most brilliant host. I will stop in five other establishments across the duration of this trip, and nothing else will surpass La Mansarde."

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was well-equipped with a Nespresso machine, kettle, small hob, and all the necessary cookware and crockery for preparing simple meals. The air conditioning was very effective, and the shutters made the room wonderfully dark at night. The brand-new (2025) swimming complex was stunning, with a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room – all immaculately clean and beautifully styled. White bathrobes were provided for guests using the facilities, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was served in the restaurant beside the pool, with an option to sit on the patio surrounded by beautiful hydrangeas. The host was warm, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would return in a heartbeat."
