Really enjoyed my stay here! The hotel is quiet, and is friendly. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had the amenities for a comfortable stay. They also have a pretty good breakfast every morning. I was able to cook meals with ease in the double burner stove and the room comes with necessary kitchen utensils, pots and pans. Wpuld stay again!

Hotel was in good shape. Bathroom could have been updated. A little hallways were a little smelly but I think they had a leak of some kind office staff very efficient and friendly and morning breakfast very good.

I stayed at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Atlanta for a vacation, and the booking was made through Expedia. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was very frustrating. When we arrived, the hotel’s system was down, and it took more than an hour to complete the check-in process. Because of this delay, we missed plans we had scheduled after check-in, which was disappointing, especially after traveling. The staff mentioned it was a system issue, but there was no clear timeline or proactive resolution during the wait. That said, once we were checked in, everything else was fine. The room was clean, the stay was comfortable, and there were no other major issues during our visit. Overall, the stay itself was okay, but the long and poorly handled check-in experience definitely impacted our first day and overall impression. I hope the hotel improves its process and communication during system outages to avoid this for future guests.

Mixed feelings

Fantastic area for shopping, dining. Very close to and easy to drive to Ameris Ampitheater. Only COMPLAINT I have is our two bedroom unit had 3 tv sets but only one was fully functioning. Of the others, one had NO volume at all and the other was missing the remote control so could not use either one. By the time our event was over it was too late to bother the staff about it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and provided a comfortable stay. The only negative was that the TV was older and the screen had some burned in image issues but that didn't deter from a great stay.

Home Away from Home

Exceptional management and care for guests. From front desk to housekeeping staff, all are considerate and accommodating. Immaculately clean room, well stocked kitchen, courtyard area even offers a gas grill for guests to use. Nice breakfast buffet; and three Starbucks less than a mile from the hotel! Highly recommend.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, good water pressure in shower. Could use some updating. Bathroom floor seemed a bit sticky if walking on it with bare feet. Really friendly and helpful front desk staff. Free breakfast was nice. Not sure if the hotel is pet friendly (assuming so) but there was a dog in the room next door one night that barked occassionally. Fortunately, it did not bark continuosly. Easy to get to and near some restaurants, gas station.

We were in town for a concert at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre and had a great one night stay at TownePlace. Chose the property for it’s location and the just under 30 minute walk from the venue to the hotel was relaxing following a great show. Room was very clean and well-laid out, kitchen was small but very functional, best use of a small space I have ever seen in a hotel room. Bed was adequate (though I am getting older and don’t respond as well to is anything that is not my own bed). Shower head was high and curved shower curtain so those of us larger folks can be comfortable. Breakfast was very good, eggs (scrambled and boiled), meat (sausage and bacon), fruit, waffles, high protein Greek yogurt, fruit, grains (bread, English muffin, muffins and bagels), different juices and milks and good coffee. I especially appreciate the hazelnut creamer. Staff were very nice, gave local directions and a 10% off coupon at Village Tavern. Pool looked decent. Grounds were well-kept. My 4/5 rating for cleanliness is not 5/5 due to the fact that the hallways and elevator could have been cleaner. If I return to Alpharetta, this will be the only place I will stay.

The hotel itself was fine, but the dishwasher was inoperable for our visit which made it less convenient to cook and eat in the room during our stay. The issue was discovered the first evening and reported, then reported again the following morning. A maintenance person showed up that second day, attempted to resolve then left stating they would return, this never occurred. As we were leaving the machine began to leak a large amount of smelly, dirty dish water flooding the kitchen area. Upon closer inspection there were exposed electrical wires poking out from the bottom of the machine and it was missing the cover panel which would have prevented the wires from being a shock danger. An additional unrelated issue was the pool being out of service, it's allegedly going to be online next week. Parking was good and it's in a nice area, the breakfast area was small but decent.
