Overall the property was very nice secluded wooded setting and lots of privacy. The full kitchen was missing eating utensils (didnt discover that until we were ready to eat) i had to purchase my own but no big thing. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The stay was nice. It’s a little cringe that to get to the house you have to reverse your car over a bridge to park, or walk from the top of the street. I appreciate the washer and dryer. There were little things that could have been better: for instance I could have had a dish rag instead of a dirty old sponge, batteries that worked , remotes with backs to them, nice pots to cook in, the pots were raggedy, another trash bag 1 was not suitable for a 4 night stay.

Places was infested with roaches and the host tried to bribe me to not report this issue. Roaches was in the refrigerator dead and all through the unit.

Cozy but not luxury

Overall the place was ok. It definitely wasn't luxury like the title said it was. Smaller than expected from the pictures but cozy. Need a longer shower curtain because it's not wide enough so water leaks on the floor when showering. Need to upgrade the pillows because they were all flat and also need to upgrade the bed linen, very old and outdated. Walls are very thin so you can definitely hear your guest next door.

The host James was very polite and very helpful. He checked on me periodically just to make sure I didn’t need anything and to make sure i was ok. He made my extension for an extra day smooth and easy.

Not enough pillows. Needs manual deadbolt on front door. No silverware. Shower would not drain. No papers in binder. Lights are loose on porch.

My partner and I booked this villa for one night. We had a late check in due to a delayed flight, so we didn’t get there until 10:30pm. Immediately as you walk in you smell smoke and feel the floor being very sticky. We were tired and very hungry so we ate our pizza and took showers. By the time I finished my shower, I noticed a dirty old makeup towel folded and placed on the sink with hair in it. When I finally went to the room, one of the beds had stained sheets, while the other also had a hair on it. I no longer felt comfortably sleeping in a place like this and by then 2nd hour there, we left at 12:30 am. The property owner would not answer the call, and when I finally got a hold of him the next day he refused to refund us because we “had enough time to complain earlier”. However, we called him and Expedia for the last hour, and we were ready to leave after only one hour staying there. Do not book this stay.

The property over all is great in a pinch. The photos are better than the reality. It is a sweet place and has a lot of potential. Towels were tiny. Kitchen barely stocked with old pans in rough condition. The neighbors on the other side smoke a lot of pot and cigarettes which you get inundated with the smell. They had a gathering that kept us up until nearly 3a as it’s quite noisy and not well sound insulated. Our checkin procedures were emailed the day we checked out. The international number to reach the property is a pain. The listing had a domestic number that was out of service. Took 3 days to get in touch with anyone. The gentleman we did get in touch with was kind, courteous and was patient with my panicked 1a phone call when we couldn’t get in on arrival. It all worked out in the end. I give him huge props for helping as he did and at such a crazy hour.
