Staff was friendly. Breakfast was just small muffins, cereal, no milk, coffee and toast. My husband and I felt unsafe because of the area, a lot of people walking around at all hours of the day/night. Had a lot of people ask for money and cigarettes. Hotel room we stayed in was recently renovated. It was nice.

Prior to arrival I received a text message welcoming me and to reply if I had any questions. I replied but did not receive a response. Check in and check out went smooth. That's the highlight of the entire 2-night trip. TV did not work. Phone did not have a cable connected to it. Cockroach in room. Although only esthetics; the entire room and bathroom had patches in door and walls and several types of damage on furniture and walls. Breakfast was not as displayed on the Orbitz site. Breakfast only had 3 food items: white bread, small cheap muffins and 2 types of cold cereal. The receptionist stated hot meals (waffles) were only during the weekends. The early morning receptionist stated she had heard the cockroach complaint before but not the other issues. She said she could not help me with the room issues and the next employee would have to handle it. I had appointments to make and couldn't wait for the next employee. Later that evening I spoke with the new receptionist and all she would offer me was to change rooms. I asked about a discount, and she said I had to bring in up with the Manager. She gave me a card for the manager (email only) and stated I needed to send an email. I was skeptical since I did not receive a response to my text the day before. With only one night remaining, I felt it was too much trouble to have to pack everything up to move to another unknown room.

If you're thinking about booking here, DONT!!!! I checked in at 5:40pm and was checked out by 5:45pm same day. As soon as i walked in the room, i started itching and got punched in the face by an horrible smell. The blankets had holes, yhe white sheets looked like someone bleed on it & they just washed. The only nice thing i can say is they had a nice little pool the looked cleaned

I looked for affordable lodging near the highway to stop into during a very long trip I was making. Online this hotel looked nice, and had breakfast included. I went ahead, reserved it and paid online. When I got there it didn't look as nice as shown online. But since I had already paid it online I figured there was no way to change my mind. So I went ahead and stayed. Although the room itself, beds, and bathroom and tv were ok and seemed clean, a cockroach was literally walking on the bed cover. The guests that seem to be living there consistently are very shady looking, there seems to be drug use and they're standing around in the stairways and parking lot and sometimes being loud. I did not feel safe going out of the room to my car. I brought everything in from the car, because I didn't feel it was safe to leave them in the car. In the morning I went to supposedly have breakfast but there was a lonely empty room with with no one there and barely anywhere to sit, it almost looked like a semi-storage room. There was a few muffins or packaged cold pastries and coffee. Very basic, not enticing at all. Will not go back to a Super 8 by Whyndam again.
