Hi Carol, Thank you for staying at our rental and for your feedback. I do want to address some of the issues you brought up. We do send a map of our property, including where to pull in the driveway and where to park, to our guests before their check-in. To keep our information current, we have eliminated our property book onsite and send our guests all information via texts/messages on the booking app. This includes our contact information as well, in case there are any issues or questions. As far as the blinds go, all of the windows have the correct blinds on them- since the garage apartment is up high, you may have needed to turn the blinds in the other direction so you did not see out. We keep a spare pillow and blanket in the closet for our guests. We are also happy to bring an extra if needed had you let us know during your stay. We strive to provide an excellent experience for our guests and are available to contact during their stay.

I wanted to address the cons you listed below: You were given a code to get in the property and a video outlining where to go on the property, and you used that code throughout your stay. When asked about the code not working upon arrival, we responded to you within minutes, which allowed you to use your code during your stay. If you had any other questions, we would have been happy to assist you!

Thank you for staying at our property and for your feedback. We are quite saddened and disappointed to receive this review. Combined, we have over 80 reviews on this property and all the others are positive. We didn’t hear from you during your stay that you needed anything. Because we live on this property too, we tell everyone to please let us know what you need (even if it is a bottle of Tylenol). We would have happily accommodated extra sheets, bedding, new pillows etc. The property sits on 8 acres, and we do have a pool that when our kids are swimming in it, can be heard from the loft. We store extra clean blankets and sheets in the closet in the bedroom. And, again, we can always very easily accommodate bringing extras, if needed. The thin cover you mention on the bed is a quilt versus a comforter, but there is a thick fleece blanket in the closet. We are sorry to hear you didn’t like our pillows. We haven’t had any complaints about them before and we will check on them and offer additional pillow options, as needed. You mentioned the loft having a full size/double bed versus a queen. Yes, that is correct, that is how the loft is advertised and how it was advertised when you booked. It has one double bed for up to two guests. The pullout couch isn’t advertised as a sleeping option. We have it setup as a couch. When we first began renting out our loft, we ordered Genie 1.25 HP Quiet Belt Drive garage door openers. They are the quietest garage openers on the market and we took turns trying to hear them through the loft and could barely tell when they were running. I’m not sure how to respond about smell. The loft was completely built brand new four years ago and the carpets were new at the time and have been steam cleaned regularly since. I don’t know of any stains and the cleaners always leave the place smelling very clean. We don’t have a floral scented air freshener in there. There haven’t been any dogs inside the loft in over a year, when there was a hypoallergenic poodle that stayed for one month. It would have been our pleasure to assist in any way possible on needs you had, if we had heard from you during your stay.
