A gem in the heart of Athens
This wonderful boutique hotel is perfectly located with exceptional servicecand comfort. The room with a view of the Acropolis was extra special. Room was a bit small but gorgeous. Highly recommended.

Ideal for a short or longer stay
The staff was lovely, gave us perfect information to help us in our one-night stay in Athens. They upgraded us to an Acropolis view room, because it was available, which was such a treat. The breakfast was delicious, and in the Michelin star rooftop restaurant, again with a view of the Acropolis. The bed was very comfortable, and the AC worked well. We were a short walk (maybe 5-6 minutes) from the metro, which is a direct line to the airport and honestly, just as easy to do as getting a car. It was overall a perfect place for our short trip.

Highly HIGHLY recommended
Such a beautiful hotel that we made a return visit. Impeccable service, beautiful quiet comfortable rooms with character, and exquisite food (even the breakfasts were outstanding) - and a well deserved Michelin star for the restaurant and a view to die for. A must if you’re visiting Athens and want the very best experience. Thank you so much Zillers!

It does not have the view of the front of the acropolis . Also rooms have a blocked view. The room was nice but it’s very noisy and we got very little sleep

Overpriced but exceptionally nice people and breakfast. While we were there thy had some kind of religious festival at the church outside our window, with high-volume chanting and bells from 6am to 1am - nightmare...

The hotel is elegant, the staff is wonderful, the food is amazing--the rooftop garden now has a Michelin star and is a wonderful experience, with a view of the Acropolis. The room is comfortable and it's easy to walk to the Plaka, the Acropolis complex, to the museums near Syntagma Square, and to shopping from the hotel.

We loved our stay
Fabulous staying at this hotel! Everyone was wonderful! Front desk staff was exceptional. The views from the rooftop restaurant are exceptional. Place was very clean. Everything was just as promised. Don’t hesitate to stay here. It’s worth it.

A Gem!
The Zillers is an AMAZING hotel! My husband and I stayed for three nights and loved our experience there. Our room was beautiful and had an incredible view of the Parthenon, and the bed was super-comfortable with good-quality sheets and comforter. An excellent breakfast was served on the lovely rooftop terrace, and the service was exemplary. The hotel's location is ideal --- you can walk just about anywhere in Athens from it. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to that great city!

An absolutely gorgeous city centre hotel
This little boutique hotel is an absolute gem and to be thoroughly recommended. Beautiful decor, the rooftop bar and restaurant serves THE most amazing haute cuisine and cocktails, and the staff are so incredibly helpful and happy! The whole experience was just wonderful.. and at a very reasonable price for a city centre hotel. Would most definitely stay here again on any return trip

romantic retreat
We arrived early and they stored our bags and gave us cappuccino at the rooftop cafe with a cookie while we rested. Later we enjoyed truffles as a guest treat. Everything was spotless and comfortable, and the rooftop restaurant was excellent. We loved the wine pairings while we viewed the acropolis at sunset.

Perfect hotel--tiny sign
A lovely boutique hotel in the very heart of the Plaka. Walking distance to the Metro, all the museums and hundreds of restaurants, shopping, etc. The rooms are beautiful and the view of the Acropolis from the breakfast room/bar is the best in Athens. My lone complaint is their laughably tiny signage--I walked by the entrance twice without seeing it.

Perfect location, great staff
Zillers was in a perfect location, steps from everything. The staff was lovely and couldnt be more helpful. The room had a ton of charm, beautiful high ceiling, lovely windows with juliet balconies overlooking the Acroplolis and a beautiful square. Bed was big and comfy. Only issue was that the room was very tight and it was challenging to find a place to open 2 suitcases. But we were there only 2 nights and this was outweighed by all the positives.

Stay at Zillers if you can!!
This was our first trip to Athens and we will tell everyone we know to stay at the Zillers Boutique Hotel!! It is unassuming from the outside, but the staff is better than anywhere in the world we have stayed. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and if you can get an Acropolis view, do it! The restaurant on the rooftop is exceptional, with a wonderful breakfast every morning. And again, the view!! But the excellent staff that offers so much support for tours, travel, etc. exceeds all expectation. Plus the hotel is right in the center of town and perfect for touring. So glad we found it!

I would write almost word-for-word the review by Joseba on April 26. Great location within walking distance of some key sites, caring, helpful staff, excellent breakfast included. The only potential irritant was the chiming of the church bells every half hour without exception. In time, they became unnoticeable. The roof top restaurant is a MUST if you like Michelin quality dinners; such creativity with food. Excellent value and Greek wine list.

Despite the room being smaller than expected and even though we lacked of space to store our stuffs, our overall experience has been extremelly positive. Very well-located in the heart of the old-town. What we would highligth is the profesionalism and kindness of the whole staff and more particularly the lady who serves the breakfasts. Also worth to mention the house keeper who did a great work everyday. We won’t easily forget our nights having dinner in the terrace. Shall we go to Athens again, we would definitely consider staying here again.

The best location in town
What an amazing location. In the middle of Plaka in Athens. All great places at walking distance. Best view from the terrace. Amazing breakfast and service. Highly recommended

Great location and view of the Acropolis. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was disappointing and not comfortable. There was no closet or drawers for clothes. No place to put a suitcase. There was no central “bathroom” but three different areas unconnected. No place for makeup or toiletries . The design of the room was not one that welcomed the visitor.

Consierge (both) were excellent. We were provided early check-in and the room was beautiful. Complimentary brekfast was wonderful and the staff there and during the evenngs at the rooftop bar were the best. Will stay here whenever we travel to Athens

Great view, location, & staff
The staff, the managers, & the owner are wonderful. We showed them kindness upon arrival, and they gave it back to us ten-fold in hospitality. The view from our room and the 3rd floor restaurant is the Acropolis, which is awe-inspiring both during the day and while lit up at night. The location is amazing with five minute walks to Plaka or to the flea market. Shopping and dining everywhere.

Perfect location to enjoy Athens
The Zillers is a lovely stay in Athens! Throughout our stay each staff person we interacted with was friendly, professional, and attentive. We were happy to get an early check-in after a long day of travel, and were welcomed with rooftop drinks. Our room was cute, and the only odd feature was the location of the bathroom within the room (fine for a couple, but not very private if traveling with friends). We enjoyed our delicious breakfast on our room’s balcony, and the location was perfect for sight seeing. Looking forward to our next stay!

The location was great. However, we had a non-front facing room. Our room faced the central core area. The central core area supported the roof top restaurant and had a lot of noise.

Great location, lovely property. It has a lot of character and unique qualities. The rooftop garden has a stunning view. The hotel does sit across from a church that rings it’s bell very often… that may be distracting for some! Otherwise, perfect experience.

Great value for your money
Very well located with loads of restaurants and shopping possibilities in walking distance. The rooms are very nice, go for the ones with Acropolis view, it's definitely worth it. Staff (f.e. Stella, Eleni etc.) is super friendly and helpful. Awesome breakfast in the rooftop with many choices and a great view of the Acropolis. Would definitely stay there again.

Junior suite had fab view of Acropolis,staff were brilliant, whole place was so clean. Only slight downside was light and noise from the Swuare opposite, and the noise of the church bells, although they do provide earplugs.
