Excellent service and friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Rooms was clean and air conditioning work properly. The walls were paper thin. The environment/neighborhood was unpredictable to say the least. I do not recommend walking on these streets in the evening and at night.

The hotel staff are excellent, extremely friendly and helpful. Large room, no view. cleaned daily. Easy walk to the Acropolis, Plaka and surrounding historical sites. Unfortunately, the area may be disconcerting for some guests as serious homelessness and drug issues are prevalent. At no time did I feel unsafe..locals kept to themselves.

Complete waste.... Filthy room, Everything in Dilapidated condition. Bathroom seemed to ne from the 80s..Stained bedsheets, no kettle, very noisy surroundings.. Filthy carpets. Only good area is the reception.. Staff is very nice and thats perhaps the only saving grace... Breakfast is good too.. If you are looking for a clean hotel in a good neighbourhood this is not the one.

Nice hotel with very good and friendly staff. Nothing bad to say. Clean rooms, quiet, and safe. Don’t let the area scare you, as it is very safe although to some it doesn’t look like that. But that’s normal Europe nowadays. Bed very comfy, and enough room in the room. Good black out curtains. Breakfast was good and there was enough variety. Maybe some fruits to add and then would be just perfect.

This hotel is a cheap stay because of the area. This is an area of town the Athens doesn't take care of. It doesn't feel good to walk through it but we didn't have anyone approach us or have any problems. Appreciate the security guard out front. It's a 15 min walk to main metro. Breakfast had a lot of choices. We stayed here because we were able to get 3 beds in 1 room. The inside of hotel and rooms is clean.

Dated hotel, located in junkies hotspot of Athens

This hotel is very basic, style of the 80th, located in the worst street of Athens (according several taxi drivers, dangerous at night, full of homeless and junkies but only 10min food walk to Monasteraki). Its somehow clean, has wireless internet and a tiny lift. The breakfast is just a pain for stomach and eyes (old and very cheepy)

Unsafe neighbourhood and run down

First time to Athens so didn’t know the neighbourhoods of the city. Turns out the hotel was in a neighbourhood which was not good. There were lots of drug needles all over the street, lots of homeless outside and builds around were vacant and dilapidated. Hotel condition was not very good, really run down and the shower leaked all over the floor through the tiles, shower curtain was dragging on the floor and mouldy. The one thing positive was the staff who were very friendly.

The day before to check out. They don't cleaning the room. No clean the floor and they didn't do the bed, just move the linen up. It was disapppointed. The rest was good, the service at reception, the breakfast gpod. Good experoence with a little black point.

Though Hotel is close to Omonio metro station, the street where hotel is located was too dirty with lot of people around having drugs. There were syringes on the entire stretch and people sitting on the street having having drugs. We were finding it bit difficult to moved around at night as it poses risk. As far as hotel staff is concerned, one staff denied giving us packed breakfast on the day of checkout. We informed him previous day evening but he says we should have informed them previous day morning. Nowhere we have seen such a demand. Previous evening was good enough to pack breakfast next day. About cleanliness, the housekeeping team was not cleaning the carpet everyday and the towels were not changed. One day even the bed was not made. Bathroom was dirty too and no place to hang our clothes. It looked very old property

We didn’t do our research for this stay on our Greece trip. When arriving to the hotel, even our driver informed us to be safe and stay alert at all times in this area. When walking up/down the streets by the hotel there’s people doing drugs and sleeping on the sidewalks all hours of the day. Cherry on top was the human feces we encountered on the sidewalk right by the hotel. Price was the main reason for our pick of this hotel, but if we ever return to Athens we’d stay elsewhere. We could hear everything around us within the hotel room (in the hallways, room next to us). Bed was basically like cardboard and bathroom was small. This was the last stop on our trip, and we may have been spoiled in all the other places, but it just seemed not well kept. Trash was only changed once, which if you’ve been to Greece you know it should be changed every day since you can’t flush toilet paper. Breakfast had a lot of options which was nice to be fueled/energized before our long days of exploring Athens. The front desk and all other staff were kind and always greeted us. However, the hotel staff on our other stops in Greece were extremely informative of where to go and popular places we needed to check out. Marina Athens hotel staff basically just checked us in and handed us our key. We already had our own plans/itinerary but it’s still nice to get to know the place from people who work/live here.
