Would highly recommend this property! Staff were very attentive. Great location! Our booking included a free breakfast in the cafe each morning > items are brought in from their adjoining bakery ! Good selection. Just use caution when booking the smaller rooms, as the bed may not be accessible from both sides, which presents some logistical issues.

It’s no secret that the breakfast is five star which comes with your stay! Food and service are incredible. This hotel is perfectly located and just steps away from the train or bus to the airport. More importantly steps away from the beautiful Plaka area. Room was perfect for us. Great bed and shower. We will be back again! The roof top restaurant was great as well.

Ergon Bakehouse was a fantastic place to stay in Athens. It is centrally located in Plaka walkable to multiple restaurants, bars, shopping and historic sites. The staff was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the complementary breakfast every morning. A wonderful stay! We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Athens.

A unique hotel in the heart of Athens, built around an amazing bakery. The staff were incredibly friendly and even packed pastries for us to take on the morning we left early for our ferry. Great location, beautiful design, and an unforgettable experience. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel muito aconchegante e com um conceito diferenciado por ficar em cima de sua própria Bakery trazendo um aroma especial ao hotel. E um pouco barulhento principalmente a noite por causa da movimentação da cidade e também pela Manhã quando uma enorme fila se forma por causa da Bakery. Mas tudo isso vale a pena por conta do conceito maravilhoso. Ao lado existe um outro mercado da própria marca como m um rooftop maravilhoso.

A localização e o conceito do hotel são incríveis. Por ficar em cima da Bakery do próprio hotel, o cheiro do pão com canela assado diariamente fica exalando Em todo o hotel trazendo lembranças da casa da avó. Tudo é muito bom com exceção do barulho Da rua e dos corredores a noite. Se você nao se importar com este detalhe sua hospedagem será ótima.

Zimmer waren toll, das Frühstück war sehr gut, auch wenn es manchmal sehr lange gedauert hat bis alles kam, was aber die Experience leider für uns ruiniert hat waren die Nächte. Wir konnten so gut wie garnicht schlafen durch den Lärm von draußen. Für den Preis und die Location an sich hätte wir erwartet das die Zimmer mit Schallisolierten Fenstern ausgestattet sind, dem war nicht so. Würde das behoben werden, würden wir def nochmal hier bleiben, für die Zukunft würden wir aber vorerst was anderes buchen, insbesondere weil man für das gleiche Geld nochmal etwas qualitativ besseres finden kann in Athen.

Warm smooth check in. Room an XL Was of a good size and had everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We are particularly fussy about beds and pillows and both of these were very good. Bakehouse is perfectly situated in the heart of Athens. Easy walk to all major attractions. Breakfast included in our room rate included produce from the bakery that is attached. Highlight was the very naughty sandwiches on their legendary sour dough. Fresh orange juice and excellent coffee. Can order whatever you want and as much as you want!!! NB do not bother with breakfast at Ergon House - food to clever for it's own good and staff were particularly grumpy and unhelpful. Would recommend staying at the Bakehouse.

We booked a medium room and were given room 207. A beautiful room but the noise from the street was unbelievable. So loud it was impossible to sleep even with ear plugs in. We were awake all night. We asked to move room and we were told they only had one room left - 301. It was a cheaper small room and it had a small window on the wall with the bed which backed on to the hotels air conditioning pipes which gave off a loud humming noise like a washing machine being on. Less noisy but extremely irritating and a must to sleep with ear plugs. Not at all what you expect when you’ve paid over 700 euros for three nights. It also backed on the construction happening at a neighbouring building that started at 7 am. If you’re hoping to sleep this is not the hotel for you. Room 301 felt like a room they don’t use unless you complain and it’s a last resort to move guests. Netflix / screen share didn’t work in either room and the air con wouldn’t go below 21 degrees making both rooms extremely hot. The rooms themselves were very nice, clean and the breakfast was great with lots of choice and great coffee. Just the noise was the biggest disappointment. After asking about the price difference when we changed room we were offered 100€ off what we had paid. Still didn’t feel like we had any sympathy from staff and this complaint must happen all the time.

Everything, the food, rooms and staff are amazing. The entry to the hotel section could be more obvious tbh - the reception area is kind of very tight. The location is amazing but it comes with the fact that it gets noisy. While they do their best to block it, travelers should be aware of this. Not a complaint but rather a recommendation.

Da vi gik værelset var der meget støj fra noget udluftning udenfor vinduet - og vinduet var lige over hovedgærdet på sengen og lukkede ikke tæt nok til at holde støjen ude. Vi bad om et nyt værelse, hvilket vi kunne gå næste dag, men først kl. 15, så vi var uden værelse fra kl. 11-15. Vi blev ikke tilbudt kompensation.

The location was amazing - everything you want to see in Athens is walkable or a short metro ride away. The breakfasts are superb and there are so many fabulous restaurants an easy walk away you are spoiled for choice. The room we had was spacious and quiet and the bed was really comfortable. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. We loved our stay there and would recommend.
