Most of the staff were great. The hotel is situated in a bit of a challenging area, but like in most places, the druggies keep to themselves. The situation was much better than I had imagined. Good value.

It was OK for one night. Cons: the shower stall is tiny and uncomfortable. The breakfast was very basic. The area outside seems a bit shady and it was very noisy at night. I saw a syringe on the ground right outside the hotel entrance. Pros: the hotel is only 20 mins away from the Acropolis; plenty of dining options; free street parking available.

A great budget hotel about 30min away from the main tourist areas. Alas we didn't have a high level holder for the shower head but the room was fine for us with comfy beads, air conditioning and a balcony for relaxing at the end of the day.

Clean hotel with superb breakfast that includes carpaccino. Staff go out of their way to help you. Amazingly cheap also. I would highly recommend.

If youre only concern is the budget this is a reasonable stay. Otherwise, the facilities, the breakfast, the elevators and the overall unsafe surrounding area are terrible experience. That being said, the staff are attentive and helpful but 2/5 is the highest i could give this hotel.

Great budget friendly hotel. Close to Omonia Square which was super convenient for the hop on hop off bus. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if I go back to Athens.

The hotel is very good for the price. Rooms are clean, staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good. But the location is not so good. It’s conveniently located near a metro stop. But the area is extremely run down, with drug addicts and homeless people everywhere.

Roomy and Comfortable
We really enjoyed our stay in Athens. The apartment was roomy and comfortable, and well supplied with everything we needed. It was very nice to come back and have a nice place to relax after exploring Athens.

The hotel staff was magnificent. They were very accommodating and helped with any questions I had. The area isn’t the greatest but if you could look past that, this is a gem. Also has a pretty good breakfast.

The hotel is quaint and clean, exactly what is shown on the photos. Great value for money and near Omonia square metro. The staff are really nice and accommodating. The only really concern like most reviews is the surrounding. There are a lots of interesting people (hobos and druggies) hanging around the area.

Athens Choice, Greece was a very convenient hotel for walking to the Archaeological museum and the metro. It was a good bedroom and the breakfast was plentiful. A good recommendation.

Great hotel for the price. The shaft was excellent. They gave us great dining recommendations and are very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend it. Area can be a little sketchy from what I saw. There is a park that borders the hotel, where several homeless folks congregate, sleep, etc. I felt safe, as I was traveling with a larger group.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Omonia. Close to the metro station and major tourist attractions of central Athens. The area is rough but if you ignore the homeless and drug additions then it is a great place for a night or two. The buffet breakfast is basic and fills the need before exploring the city. Enjoy!

Good place to sleep in Athens!
The first day we was very worried because there are a lot of junky and prostitute in this area but the next was we was good. Close to the down town no need to rent a car. Good breakfast! The women’s staff is very friendly, thanks.

Not the safest area
Hotel is in a terrible neighbourhood. When we arrived the police were chasing people down the street, the was chanting and it sounded like a small riot going on. The taxi driver said there were a lot of problems in the area. Check in was fine and room was clean apart from un emptied bins. Lucky we were only staying for one night

O staff não foi muito amigável, a cama era pouco confortável. O chuveiro só tinha protecção de um lado, o que era impossível não encharcar o piso. Pequeno almoço muito limitado. Tinha bons acessos para transporte, e boa zona comercial. A vista parecia que estávamos numa zona de guerra, zona muito mal cuidada, pela própria filosofia da cidade e dos cidadãos. Zona de sem abrigos, drogados e prostituição, no entanto não tivemos problemas nenhuns, nem nunca fomos abordados. Tem uma esquadra de polícia junto ao hotel.

Good choice for budget staying in Athens
In the city center, close to the metro station and excellent connection to the sights, but in the streets behind the hotel there are suspicious persons, but we do not had problems with them. The rooms are small but clean. The staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was fine with fresh products.

Good value for money
The street on which the hotel was located was full of rubbish and bins in the evening. It was a simple room with a TV, private bathroom with toiletries which was sufficient for a 1-2 night stay.

It it close to Omonia square, the hotel is in a shabby area and the hotel recently renovated and it is great. The elevators are reaaaly small and the beds are kinda bigger for the room. Staff was really. Helpful and friendly. Breakfast was meager... Eggs, milk and cornflakes, bread and jam and juice and fruit.....ur better off paying 5euros around the corner for a good full meal. Its affordable.

Nice but scary
The hotel itself is was fine for a 2 night stay. The breakfast was a lot of canned and potted stuff. Not a lot of choices: tomatoes olives feta boiled eggs. The neighborhood was scary. Lots of homeless men. Felt like I was in a Squatters camp.

Even is everything small in this hotel, somehow it works fine. Buffet breakfast has Greek touch. Nice lobby with bar. Wi-Fi was good.

Lovely hotel in one of the most unlovely areas of Athens, but then most of Athens, in the 20 years since I was last there, has gone downhill and looks like a slum. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean. I could have done with a different view from the small balcony, (a small park where homeless junkies greeted me every morning I opened the curtain to see them shooting up) but that’s not the hotels failt.
