Lovely place close to the airport

Wasnt sure what to expect, but was a gem of a place hidden away 15 minutes from the airport, quiet and a half hour walk or 5 minute taxi ride to a beach full of restaurants and bars.

Athens

The location is a bit remote and a walk to the sea. The room was spacious and roomy. The owner was helpful with getting an early mirning taxi. Coffee and tea was available in the room and some packaged snacks. Restaurants were hard to find. We had a cancelled floght so had to find a quick room for one night and this location is an easy and close drive to the Athens airport.

Great place to stay

This is a great place to stay, if not visiting the sites downtown. One has a countryside feeling. The host is warm, friendly, and very helpful. Large room, including a sofa, with all amenities.

The owner, who spoke good English, was very helpful. (We missed our connecting flight from Athens airport to the island of Paris because our plane arrived in Athens late.) he called a friend who came and got us and took us to wonderful restaurant by the sea, then returned us to the house. He also arranged an early morning cab ride back to the airport to get our connecting flight. Simple but lovely accommodations a quiet neighborhood.

Considering this was the closest place I could find near the airport, Artemida is a quiet residential community, sheltered from airplane noise by the mountain. The room was clean, spacious, and restful, with a beautiful patio (top floor). Just what I needed on my layover in Athens. Thank you for the stay!

Nice and clean and quiet. Quaint little place. If you can't do stairs, ask for a lower suite. The area was convenient to the airport but no shops or restaurants close by. It wasn't the nicest area but it was safe and clean and perfect for what we needed.

GreenHill was Great

This was a great place for our last night before flying out the next day. It's not easily walkable to restaurants for the evening but you can easily cab to those nearer the water or the owner will help place a delivery order. One of the nicer Greek restaurants even will send a car to pick you up and get you back with no extra charge. This is SO MUCH better than staying at the hotels near the airport with a spacious layout for the family and great balcony. We wish we had gotten in a little earlier to hit the nearby ancient sites. FYI: It really confused our taxi driver that we were going to Artemida, so be sure you insist you're not going into Athens proper.

Worst sleep. Hardest beds of my life. No covers just sheets. The AC is either too cold or to hor. There where no way to change the ACs temperature. No blinds or other to cover the windows properly. Out in nowhere with 25 minutes to the nearest restaurant or store.

I liked the personal service the owner gave. And, I also liked that it was not a large chain hotel. Although I did not walk all the way to the Sea (because I had been up for 24 hours travelling), I did walk far enough to know I could have easily walked to the nearby beach and small beach town that I could see from the room balcony. Also from that balcony, I could also see the beautiful hilly scenery and the pretty, mainly white stucco homes of the village
