"Clean, friendly place to stay. It was right by the bridge and water. Within walking distance to a few restaurants and not a far drive to downtown where the majority of food and shops are. Overall it was a good spot for the night."

The Herondale Hotel

The Herondale Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The rooms were clean and upto daye the river view room faced the river with nice views. The garden room i was in as a corner room that didn’t face a garden but a walkway. The tv didn’t work properly but the fire-pit and hot tub was busy with other visitors. Glad we stayed here recommend"

Astoria Riverwalk Inn

Astoria Riverwalk Inn

"Beds need updated. They creak and you can feel springs. Carpets are stained beyond repair. The twin deck looking over marina was entertaining with all the boats coming and going. The view of the bridge between Oregon and Washington is a beautiful backdrop. It can get loud starting @ 430am with fishing guides boats leaving. We had a king room suite on second floor. It was heavily decorated in little decorations, not toddler, or child proof. Clean bedding, light switches, bathrooms. Would stay here again if not for beds."

Historic hotels give guests a chance to stay in a building officially recognised with a national historic designation. They are quite similar. "Historic hotel" is more commonly used in the U.S., while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe. Yes. Every effort is made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, but interiors include modern conveniences and safety features. Guests should expect the popular amenities you'd find in a hotel such as Smart TVs, WiFi and updated bathroom facilities. In Astoria, booking a historic hotel doesn't mean you will stay in a place that's uncomfortable for guests or rundown.
