"Great location near Cannon Beach. Overall was ok to good. Not 5 stars cuz no A/C and was not advised as so in the listing. My room faced parking lot courtyard so no ocean breeze, had a walkway directly next to door and window. So window open was noisy, didn't help to get cooler air in, and felt unsafe. Box fan was provided but was beat up and only high speeds so just blew stuffy hot air around. Bad sleep."

"Very nice place to stay with a spacious and lovely room with good amenities. Tha staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The outside amenities were excellent including a great open view of the Columbia River with a good seating area with a nice firepit, seating for eating, hot tub/plunge pool, dry/wet sauna, and a cold water plunge barrel. A refreshing drink was offered at arrival. The bed was comfortable. Only negative is the closeness to a busy highway - so some noise at times. Overall - a very pleasant stay!"

"Had a room with a balcony and ocean view which was 100% worth it. Great view of the beach and promenade. The location is close to the main shops and restaurants and parking is easy with many covered spots available. They are currently renovating, but there wasn’t any excess noise during our stay. We left the hotel during the day so maybe we avoided the time they were working."

"Excellent location, next to grocery store and Starbucks! Friendly staff, large clean rooms, and variety of breakfast foods. Only 1 elevator, but it never took long, and the stairs were clean and safe as an option!"

"Best place to see ships on the river and fishing boats at the big docks outside our back window. They have good screen doors to open and listen to the birds and watch the fishing boats dock nearby. Best breakfast included some hot oatmeal and make some toast for your scrambled egg patties and sausage gravy and Great coffee if they can keep making it. Bob ? Mornings Was So very friendly and caring not to put us over the laundry room as a few years ago when I wasn’t feeling good from surgery and this time too had more back surgery so he put us close to the office where I didn’t have to walk far for breakfast and parking by the door for my handicap parking. The young lady in afternoon was very friendly too and helped me with the paperwork. Great staff and for trying to keep up on the coffee. Big parking lot and you do have to put the pass in the window of the car. Is an older motel but clean but need to take carpets out. Great microwave and fridge that has freezer space for your ice packs. No AC so good for off season, heater works great. Thanks for your caring Staff."

"We loved our stay. The hotel is beautiful and we loved sitting out on the patio over the water enjoying a glass of wine. The front desk helped with dinner reservations and even provided transportation in a vintage car. The breakfast was really nice. Would highly recommend."

"Check in was ok. One agent was helping someone with personal photos (putting them in between pieces of cardboard and then in envelopes, a little weird but ok) while the other agent watched what they were doing and eventually just wandered off. First agent was nice enough once she got to us. The room was clean and nice though and the bed was super comfortable, slept great. Would stay again if back in Astoria."
