This uncrowded lift offers great access to the amazing skiing on Aspen Mountain. At the end of the day you can ski down the ski way to right outside the 700 Monarch building (conditions permitting) and click out of your skis. In the summer months you will enjoy the ease of access to the great hiking trails on Aspen Mountain and the short walk to the downtown restaurants and nightlife. Start your day with a coffee and muffin at Paradise Bakery before you hop on the Aspen Mountain gondola.
700 Monarch is located in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood but yet is so convenient. The wood burning fireplace will welcome you home each afternoon where you will enjoy quiet afternoons or settle into the cozy outdoor furniture on the balcony and relax in the afternoon sun with your favorite beverage. The inviting living room sofa is perfect for unwinding after starting a fire in the wood burning fireplace or prepare a great dinner in the deluxe fully stocked kitchen. You will appreciate the open-concept living area when spending time with your traveling companions.
The condo is all one level and is located on the third floor without elevator access. Please contact us in advance if we can be of assistance with your luggage. The third floor location provides for vaulted ceilings and views from the balcony of skiers or hikers enjoying Aspen Mountain. A complete remodel of this home was completed in the fall of 2021 and is beautifully and thoughtfully finished. The master features a king bed and en-suite spa-like bath. The second and third bedrooms have two twin beds that can be made into a king upon request prior to your arrival. These flexible bedding arrangements make this vacation rental perfect for all groups of travelers - families, friends, couples will all enjoy sharing this upscale condo. You will truly enjoy your stay in this contemporary mountain home just across the street from the lift and ski trails on Aspen Mountain and 3 blocks to the heart of downtown Aspen's numerous shops, restaurants and nightlife.

We loved our stay at the Monarch. We were in town for the Ruggerfest. Only a 3 block walk to the rugby field. Great view of Aspen Mountain. Lovely small park one block away. Very clean,the owners thought of everything.
The condo is so well appointed- they thought of everything to make guests feel at home. The decor and furnishings are so well done including the comfort of the couch and beds! We highly recommend this property and will definitely rent again when we are back in the area.
Everything was perfect. The location is great, close to all you need, like shopping, restaurants and busses to the different sky centers. The apartment is equipped with nice and well conditions stuffs.
The apartment on the inside is just as nice as the pictures, very new with a nice kitchen and bathrooms. It is a 3rd floor walk up, but has a locker for ski storage on the ground floor which is convenient. Location is excellent as a 5 min walk to town, Aspen mountain and the buses to other mountains.
What a lovely apartment in a great location. Everything you needed was provided and all great quality. Easy walk to town center and restaurants and nice view of the mountain. Car parking easy and great communication with host company. Only slight issue was all the stairs. The unit is on the 3rd floor and at the high altitude meant we were a bit breathless going up. Easily solved with some oxygen cans so recommend them! Definitely recommend.
We loved our stay at this condo. It has been immaculately renovated with high end finishes. The location was great. It is up a hill but we knew that from description/reviews. Use caution as not every part of the sidewalk is salted when walking towards town. The space fit 4 of us very nicely but I think it would have been tight with 6 adults. Would definitely stay here again.
This property was perfect for our group. It is in a fabulous location that is close to town and has a stunning view of the mountain. The home was comfortable and well-equipped. The ITrip team was exceptional - wonderful communication and very informative. 10/10!!!

Great experience with manager and arrival to property. Convenient location near town and Ajax Mountain. It’s an older property with no AC and no elevator to a third floor unit, but we enjoyed the condo and would stay there again.
