Stunning view and great location! We drove into town we didn’t walk because they walk would have been to long to reach downtown but this view from the room and breakfast area was something I’ll never forget! Love the alpine design as well. Very clean and comfortable.

We booked Hotel Boite largely because of the spa, which is prominently featured throughout the hotel’s photos and booking page. This was very misleading. The spa is not part of the hotel—it’s a 10-minute walk or short drive away. After a long hike, we wasted time searching for the sauna before the front desk told us it was at a separate facility. To compensate, they gave us one free hour at the spa but failed to mention towels were not provided. We were told to either rent towels for €5 each or walk back to the hotel to get our own. The spa itself was also disappointing, with the “vascular path” consisting of little more than painful rocks. Housekeeping was equally frustrating. Our room wasn’t cleaned until late afternoon, our towels weren’t replaced, and staff left cleaning supplies in our bathroom. We put them in the hallway, and they were still there the next day. For a hotel claiming to be four stars, it misses many of the details that matter. The staff was not particularly attentive, there was no coffee in the room, breakfast was entirely self-service, and the air conditioning barely worked, leaving our room over 80°F every night. The location is convenient for exploring the Dolomites, but overall the misleading spa advertising, poor housekeeping, lack of attention to detail, and nonfunctional AC made this a disappointing stay.

Lovely area up on the hillside. The staff was wonderful, a few close hikes, and a short walk to the bus stops.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mirage. Our family room was genuinely spacious, with a small flight of stairs leading up to a loft annex — a lovely touch that gave the children their own space while keeping us all together. The bathroom was on the smaller side but perfectly functional, and spotlessly clean throughout. The real highlight was the view: the room had the most fabulous mountain outlook through a wide, fully opening window, plus a balcony that was a joy to sit out on. Being just a little outside Cortina turned out to be a real plus too — it gave the whole place a greater sense of space and calm. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the free on-site parking was a genuine boon. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful; the selection wasn't the widest we've come across, but there was always plenty to set us up for the day. After long days walking in the Dolomites, the swimming pool and sauna were a real treat — exactly what tired legs needed. We had a lovely time and would happily recommend it.
