"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

"The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain."

"The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav. The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door. "We have had previous good stays at Exeter court in blocks 1 or 2, however this time our block 5 room TV was not working, so after a staff member was unable to fix it we changed rooms. Our second room, the toilet was not flushing efficiently but staff attended to this matter once reported. Exeter Court always offers an excellent breakfast and ample free parking and is easy distance from both Exmouth and Teignmouth."

"We were in a more modern but still old part of the hotel. So it wasn't in absolutely top condition, but it was extremely affordable for us and very comfortable. Being older, it had very large windows (at least the room we were in, which was almost a corner room so had windows over more than one aspect). The hotel is very friendly and clean, and we enjoyed out stay. We noticed live entertainment each evening, but we had been active during the day and didn't sit in, but the acts sounded pretty good. Because there were coach tours during our stay, most evenings we had to park on the street. We never had any problem finding a park and the roads there are quiet. If you are needing to use a bus, there is a bus stop very close. This is the bus that takes you to Teignmouth and beyond, many all the way to Exeter. Overall we certainly will return if we are unable to use our normal Teignmouth accommodation."
