For those who want to be close enough to Asheville that you can easily drop in, but also prefer peace and privacy in your own luxurious perch on top of the world, this is your spot!!

This stunningly beautiful, modern and immaculately clean cedar log home has year-round postcard-like views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. And, it has the best of both worlds - total privacy, yet only 15 minutes to the center of Asheville - so close you can catch an Uber/Lyft.

There's a sense of peace and calm you'll immediately feel when you enter the bright, open floor plan, gaze up at the 18' ceilings, look out over endless views, and settle into the cabin's peaceful setting, located on 18 private acres.

Enjoy some time on the deck, taking in views of rolling farmland, endless mountain ridges, and an ever-changing sky. Watch as hawks and eagles soar gracefully upward on thermal air currents. Great Weekend

Had a wonderful view of the mountains and meadows below. The cabin met all our needs and was very comfortable for 4 of us. The beds and pillows were amazing. Close to Ashville for day trips.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time at this house. The views are incredible, the house is so comfortable, and the location is convenient to Asheville as well the parkway and other places to hike. We would be happy to stay here again.

Relaxing cabin above the clouds

Spent a great weekend at the house with my parents and dogs. Perfect spot to escape from the business of Asheville but close enough to pop in for dinner. The location is so nice and quiet. The hot tub is the cherry on top. Definitely recommend this spot.

Weekend family vacation

The house is nice, clean and beautiful view. Supplied very well for cooking meals and nice robes to use in Hot tub which is right on the porch. Close to grocery stores and only a 25 min drive to downtown Asheville.

One of the main attractions to this property was the stunning view of the mountains and valley below but unfortunately the view was obstructed (I’m knit picking here) by some overgrowth. The view was still stunning!

Wonderful views and great property

A short drive say from downtown Asheville is definitely worth the seclusion and beautiful views. The bed in the master bedroom was amazing, i slept like a log. The owner has tons of detailed info on a binder at the home. Would definitely recommend for a family of 5-6!

The drive up to this cabin seemed like it would never end….because the cabin is at the very top!! What a view!! Our family had a wonderful time….the cabin was so comfortable and even decorated for the holidays, we all enjoyed the hot tub and it was an easy 20 minutes drive intro the heart of Asheville.

Away from it all, yet close to it all

Our family had a wonderful time here. We spent equal amounts of time sitting around, reading, watching movies, as well as taking adventures to West Asheville, downtown Asheville, and the Arboretum.The cabin is very cozy, the beds are very comfortable and there is no shortage of pillows and blankets to make your space as comfortable as possible.We cooked some meals; we also drove into the city to eat some meals. One of the wonderful things about this property is the proximity to Asheville, while being remote enough to see a ton of stars and have peace and quiet all day and all night.We will almost certainly stay here again, there was nothing that was lacking that any of our family was looking for in a vacation rental.

Top of the hill Asheville getaway

This location was a perfect getaway with fantastic views and we had great weather. It was a quick trip into Asheville and was a very quiet and relaxing location to stay. Host was very responsive and helpful. The only concern was the last turn on the road to the home as a car did get stuck and they were able to rock it over the groves in the road. Four wheel drive vehicles were fine. I would rent again!

Nice cabin in the woods - just what we expected. About 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. We had an unfortunate incident occur at the property, and Kelly was very understanding, compassionate and professional in helping us resolve the issue. Quiet getaway

The switchbacks are a bit challenging in the dark, so arrive when it is still light out. Cabin and landscaping was absolutely amazing when we pulled up to it. Easy directions to enter. Beautiful interior. Everything you need for a few days to a few month stay. Beautiful sunsets. Sounds of wildlife hypnotic at night. Only one negative, which was no big deal: The floor/walls were thin- we could hear whispered conversations from the 1st floor bedrooms, and they were kept awake with the snoring coming from the upstairs bedroom. Would definitely re-book this cabin and work with this property owner again.

Everything you could possibly need at this cabin, which is very rare! My only slight disappointment was the fact that you do not get hardly any TV stations, which usually wouldn't be a problem except that we were trying to watch the NFL playoff games! The only other issue is that the internet was incredibly intermittent and would cut you off a lot...however, the beautiful view substitutes for that!! The owner is INCREDIBLE and texts you all the time to keep in touch and ensure that you have everything you need.

Great Stay

We were two retirement-age couples who had a wonderful time staying at this property. It was exactly as described, very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. It is about 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, so access was easy. If you are not used to rural/mountain half-mile long steep and windy access roads pay attention to the the posted description and information. Arriving during daylight our first day was extremely helpful. After a couple drives we become very comfortable with it. The comfortable furniture and great sound system were much appreciated. Lastly Kelly, the host, provided rapid and accurate information before and during our visit. We recommend this property to anyone, including families.

Quiet hillside property with pleasant view

The house was comfortable and clean with a well equipped kitchen. The hot tub worked well. I appreciated the advanced home theatre system. The owner responded quickly when the fireplace wouldn't work, but the home is well insulated and was still comfortable. The only drawback was the steep and sharp turns of the driveway. We had a ford explorer and the last turn was still difficult to manuever. Still a comfortable stay and convenient location to Asheville and rural areas to the NW.

Top of the Line

This place was very comfortable and very well kept. The location on top of a mountain was ideal. The road was adventurous but worth it. The cabin had everything you needed and then some. The furniture was very comfortable as well as the beds. The entertainment equipment was top notch. We enjoyed streaming our music on the surround sound. There was quite a selection of dvds. The hot tub was great after hiking. Kelly even had robes to wrap yourself in after getting out. The dogs enjoyed the deck a lot. The area has lots to do, Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, restaurants and of course breweries. Kelly was great to deal with. We all highly recommend this place and we will be back.

Spring Break

My husband, daughter and grandchildren (ages 7 & 10) were there for Spring Break. Also brought along their family dog. A beautiful property, well equipped, extremely clean. The owner was so responsive when I had questions. Friendly neighbors, but also very private. The drive up was a little steep, but after the first time, we were familiar with it. Beautiful view, top of the mountain. Convenient to Asheville, Biltmore, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co, Grove Park Inn and Elijah Mountain gem mining for the grandkids. Appliances, furnishings, tv, hot tub, gas grill were in great shape. Also had some items already in the cabinets and fridge, which was very nice. A great property, we would definitely stay there again.
